Impossible to cancel
They make it impossible to cancel. I had to jump through a ton of hoops. I feel like that makes it seem scammy.

Unable to cancel free trial after seeing app

I’ve been trying to cancel this subscription before the trial and it has been impossible to do it. Don’t use it unless you are 100% it is worth.
Lack of Customer Service
I think the information is great. However, I was charged $200 on the day I signed up for the free trail. Then, after I sent a request to customer service letting them know this info, I never heard back. When I cancelled 2 days before the 7 day trial ended (still with the $200 charge that already hit my account) they tried to hit my account twice more for $39.99. I still haven’t heard anything from customer service. My bank actually contacted me to see if these charges were fraudulent. I had to have a freeze on my account and I’m currently waiting for a new debit card. So frustrating! I wouldn’t trust this app.

Signed up for the 7 day free trial and it charged me immediately for the whole year.
Best app for learning and embedding
Loving this app. It helps you select the books that support what you want to learn and to embed the learnings through daily tasks. It’s awesome!!

It has great key insights & audio, plus they have action steps! I prefer this app over the rest!
Love it and subscribed. NEEDS a fix though
After reviewing multiple apps, i decided to get this one because of the action section it has. I should mention there is an issue with the mobile app, where through the website i see they have 495 books available, while in the mobile app, when i’m heading to all books section, i can only see 50 books. PLEASE fix that soon

Great mentoring app
I’ve just started using the app. Already during my free trial week, I have come to appreciate it greatly. I particularly appreciate the action points so that you can integrate the concepts into your daily life and work.

App Store is abound these days with book summary apps but there are a very few that stand out . I have already chosen the best presented summaries app according to me but it is low on volume of content due to its high quality presentations of which graphics play a huge part .
So , I was on the lookout for a companion app that had volumes but was innovative at the same time and that search ended with mentorist ! It’s a cool cool app with such a pragmatic approach in terms of clearly defined actions. Besides , volume wise it covers quite a library and content wise , delivers a punch with the combination of audio/text summaries and actions .
Also , the option to save and review favourite actions and highlight important points makes the utility of the app more enhanced . Completely satisfied .

Love it apart from the audio versions
I use this nearly daily for some easily digestible content and ideas. The written summary and actions are great however, in my opinion, listening to the audios is not a good experience compared to similar apps. For me, the tones the narrator uses make it difficult to follow and I end up tuning out. I hope this improves.

Hostile dark design
The app won’t even let you open it unless you sign up for a subscription first. I don’t trust shady people on the street trying to sell me a TV out of the back of a van, and I don’t trust shady apps like Mentorist trying to con me out of my money the same way.
Great app but stealthy charges
I had used the app a year or two ago and enjoyed it very much.
Recently though, I was charged twice for the platinum member ship. I tried to unsubscribe online and via the app but I was redirected to the App iOS menu for subscriptions and it’s not featured!
I have emailed but this charge came out of nowhere and at the wrong time!
Other than that happy with the app and UI itself. That’s great work.

Asks you to register and start free 7 day trial , no option to check out without above which is rubbish, if u have a good app it should sell itself and make me want to buy the extra options
