### 1/5 — Lost recipes, synching doesn’t happen, I’m moving

I’ve been using the premium version of this app for a very long time and have thosands of recipes saved which is the reson I have stuck with it. Not anymore. I’m done with the unresponsive support, the need to use one device to menu plan and another to store recipes and the lack of synching. I would not recommend this appto anyone serious about storing recipes electronically. I feel I have wasted a lot of time with this app.

I love that I can input the prices for the ingredients and then after I make a shopping list, it will tell me how much it should cost.  Do you have a Widget for this yet?

I have used this for some ten years now. Maybe more it’s lovely to have all your recipes or want to try in one place.

Great app, but a yearly fee and no changes for 5 years now is not ideal. Sync sometimes locks up and I expect it’s due to the large history I have. Would be nice to have a way to bulk delete records older than a specific date.

I have used this app for years.  Crashed last year, so paid for yearly subscription which auto renews.  Just crashed again, very frustrating!

I’ve been using this app for a long time, maybe 10 years or more, collecting my favourite recipes, taking photos of them etc. it has lots of really nice features and I use it to plan my menu each week. It has never synched that well between apps and web but recently, it has started losing my recipes so the name of the recipe is there but the photo and ingredients have been deleted. Very disappointing hence my rating.

option to print recipes does not work.  On iPhone, it crashes.  So I have to type the whole list of ingredients on the meal tab. Can’t just add the recipe from the library as you can’t print it   What a bummer   I cancelled my subscription.

I have had this app for several years, and it works great.  

In the latest app build on iOS 18.3, when using the print function the app crashes

Unfortunately there is no actual customer help feature.  When selecting “App Support” it only takes me to the Menu Planner website, where there is no “contact support” option.  
I am hoping that writing a review will get someone’s attention.

Menu Planner's pricing model is changing! The app itself is now free to install and all local features will be available at no cost. To support online syncing to the cloud, a subscription will now be required to sync your data and share between devices. This will allow me to continuing to offer and expand the online features going forward. Thank you for your continued support!

-Added a new account screen. Now you can sign into your Menu Planner account and turn syncing on or off without having to sign out.

- Sharing a meal plan with the option to show Serving sizes works correctly now.
- Fixed a bug that could freeze the app when changing dates on the meal plan screen.

- You can now export month and week meal plans as PDF files.
- Editing recipe ingredients will now show the amounts correctly when changed. 
- When adding a recipe to a meal plan, it will now default to 1 server instead of the number of servings assigned to the recipe.
- Fixed a sync bug that caused meals and items to duplicate at times. 
- New filters were added to show recipes and pantry items that are uncategorized
- Templates are now sorted alphabetically
- Deleting a recipe will now refresh the list correctly.
- Fixed some formatting issues for iPad Pro
- Fixed a bug that caused the shopping list screen to crash the app for some users
- Removing categories from a recipe works without having to de-select the category twice
- Added a coupon button to the shopping list to indicate if an item has a coupon
