Menu, Please! is going to be an absolute lifesaver on my trip to China. The translations are remarkably accurate, and the detailed descriptions make it so much easier to understand what each dish actually is—not just its literal name. I’ve tested the app with numerous Chinese menus, and it works extremely well, even when the writing is vertical! I also love that it keeps a running total of everything you select, which will make paying with WeChat Pay or Alipay so much easier. This is an incredibly thoughtful, well-designed app and a must-have for anyone traveling in China!

I’ve been testing this on menus I find online from restaurants next to my hotel and this app is amazing! It describes the dishes in great detail to give you a better idea of what’s in them and helps you order. These are small out of the way places that don’t have English menus. I can’t wait to use this on my trip!
