## What is Menu Translator Documentation?

Point your camera at a menu, sign, label, or readable text. Live preview is lightweight. After capture, the app reads visible text on-device and overlays translation on the original photo.

YOUR LANGUAGE
The app uses the language selected for your iPhone or this app when a supported localization exists. English is the fallback.

PRICES
Printed prices stay on the overlay. When the source currency can be determined, an approximate conversion in your currency is shown for that day's rate. If the currency is ambiguous, the app may ask you to confirm it.

FREE USE
The first 3 successful reads are free. After that, a 30-Day Travel Pass is available. It does not auto-renew. The purchase sheet shows the actual price before you buy.

ON-DEVICE
Apple Vision reads visible text. Apple Translation overlays your language. Scene images are not uploaded to a NextBase AI backend.

IMPORTANT
Translations, detected prices, and currency estimates may be inaccurate. Confirm important information with staff or the printed source.
