### 3/5 — Overpriced

*2026-08-02, version 1.1.807*

This app stopped working and it took a month for them to fix. But it is good again now. I suppose you’re paying for the WhatsApp based support person to chat to. This could be helpful if just starting in your chronic illness and trying to get your head around how this sort of breathing might work. But for me it’s way too expensive and I regret letting the yearly payment go through.

### 2/5 — Really frustrated by the July 2026 update

*2026-07-26, version 1.1.806*

I used this program daily for six months and loved it, but the recent app update has made it unusable for me. The two primary issues I have now are the increased speed of the sound cues which feels hyperventilative, and the inability to run the program in the background or with the screen off. Neither change appears to be adjustable or optional and I am incredibly disappointed to lose access to the version of a program that had worked so well for me for half a year. Abrupt and unexpected changes like this are damaging, not supportive, of the nervous system, and I’m sure I’m not the only chronically ill member/user to find it upsetting. If you are able to make these changes optional, please let me know and I will gladly return.

### 4/5 — Science-backed calm

*2026-01-22*

I love the structured daily sessions. It’s helped me move out of "fight or flight" mode more effectively than years of standard therapy. A must-have if you're recovering from burnout or chronic stress.

### 5/5 — The human coach made all the difference

*2026-01-19, version 1.1.580*

This app was very helpful for me when I was going through a tough time. Having a real person to text about my heart rate data and symptoms kept me accountable and made me feel heard. It’s a small thing but made a huge difference

### 5/5 — Helped with breathing technique

*2026-01-19, version 1.1.580*

The resonance breathing sounds are much better than visual cues. I can do my sessions with my eyes closed during my midday rest to fully reset

### 5/5 — Great integration with my Apple Watch

*2026-01-19, version 1.1.580*

I love how it pulls my data automatically. Seeing my HRV trend upward as I finish the resonance breathing exercises is incredibly motivating.

### 5/5 — Consistent and calming

*2026-01-19, version 1.1.580*

The breathing cues are excellent for calming my heart rate. I love the variety of expert breathing techniques in each session the core protocol is solid and effective.

### 5/5 — Incredible App

*2026-01-16, version 1.1.580*

This app has helped me develop a breathwork practice and continue to work on improving my HRV. I cannot say enough good things about it!!!

### 5/5 — Essential to long term recovery with no drugs!

*2026-01-16, version 1.1.580*

I started using this app to help with some very scary symptoms for which doctors couldn’t find an answer to. Not only has this technique minimized those symptoms to almost nothing, but this app has also helped manage my anxiety as well. An unintended win. Can’t recommend this app and technique enough!!

### 4/5 — Life is much calmer now and huge improvement in my sleep pattern.

*2026-01-09, version 1.1.580*

I’ve seen a huge improvement in both my sleep patterns and my ability to handle stress. It took about 4 weeks to really kick in, but the difference is night and day. Highly recommend!

### 5/5 — Great App

*2025-12-06, version 1.1.562*

Super helpful for long COVID symptoms

This app is truly exceptional. While countless breathing exercises and apps exist, this one stands out by offering an evidence-based method that has genuinely helped with long COVID symptoms—and it makes the practice so easy, calming, and enjoyable that it naturally becomes a daily habit. I absolutely love both the simple timer and the guided sessions—the sounds and verbal cues strike the perfect balance of calm, neutrality, and safety, helping me soothe my nervous system and rebalance my CO₂ levels.

My dyspnea, palpitations, and fatigue have improved dramatically since using it. And despite never measuring my HRV, I still saw remarkable benefits—proof that anyone can gain so much from this app without needing extra data or equipment. It has been incredibly supportive, healing, and transformative. Highly recommended.

Here’s a more praiseful, glowing version of the comment while keeping the original meaning:

### 5/5 — Managing HRV is easier now

*2025-12-01, version 1.1.486*

Great app! Meo Health has made managing my health so much easier. The exercises are engaging, interface is clean and everything works smoothly. It’s been a reliable companion for tracking my progress.

### 5/5 — Great Health App

*2025-11-25, version 1.1.486*

Meo Health has made it so much easier for me to track my symptoms and daily habits. It’s simple to use, and the insights really help me understand what’s going on with my health. Highly recommend!

### 5/5 — Simple, soothing and really helpful

*2025-11-21, version 1.1.486*

I have been using Meo for more than 6 months and it has helped me manage my stress, anxiety and even the brain fog I’ve been dealing with. The app is easy to navigate, and the guided lessons always calm me down. Whenever I had an issue, the support team responded quickly and fixed it so fast.

### 5/5 — Super helpful for long COVID symptoms

*2025-09-29, version 1.1.408*

There are so many breathing exercises and apps out there--this app takes one evidence-based method that has been shown to help with kind COVID symptoms and makes it easy and pleasant to make it a habit. I loved both the simple timer and the guided options--they sounds and the verbal guidance just hit the right notes of calm, neutrality and safety to help me calm my nervous system and reregulate my CO2. My dyspnea, palpitations and fatigue have all improved dramatically--and I never tried to measure my HRV, so you don't need to do that for this to be helpful.

### 2/5 — Seriously Hold Off

*2025-03-05, version 1.1.21*

Don’t be like me and give the benefit of the doubt in the face of so many low-star reviews for this app. They really should have done more testing ahead of release, because the bugs are plenty and the UI is not up to modern standards.

Complete a task? No you didn’t.
Scan your HRV? Nuh uh, m’am.
Link a wearable? What wearable?
Want to listen to your assigned clip? Better enjoy not being able to rewind if you miss something, read if you can’t listen, fast forward if you need to, come back if you have to stop, avoid having to start all over every single time if you exit, etc. All reasonable accommodations even if you aren’t riddled with a chronic energy and focus illness.

Every basic thing this app promises to deliver, it falls before the hurdle. So much flash, very little substance—or to be fair, substance that *I can access/experience* since the bugs and UI keep getting in the way.

Seriously, hold off until they fix it. Though unfortunately for those of us who already paid, no idea when that will be.

P.S. Honestly, highly recommend Visible over this. Way better UI, no bugs, very thorough/responsive/customisable, etc. They added resonant breathing training last year and are linked to the same things the Meo Health app offers, but it actually works without issue. Plus it’s made and run BY Long COVID patients FOR Long COVID patients, with extreme expertise and care. Anything missing between the two apps is readily accessible online via YouTube, a quick search, etc.

### 5/5 — Love this app

*2025-02-12, version 1.1.18*

I love this app. It’s so, so helpful for dealing with long COVID symptoms. Thank you!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Broken

*2025-03-11, version 1.1.22*

I downloaded the app today thinking I would try it out.

I went through the survey that greets you when you first load up the app. At the end, i picked the quarterly subscription and then nothing happened.

I then restarted the app. This time, a popup message indicated that a subscription was found. Beyond that, the only option was to go through the survey again, which again

At the end of survey, there was another prompt to pay.

I also noticed that it’s not possible to login into the website due to a JavaScript error.

### 1/5 — Unresponsive coach

*2025-02-28, version 1.1.20*

I downloaded this app to help with long covid. The breath work is fine, nothing I didn’t already know about. Unsubscribing is virtually impossible. Stripe has no account for me to cancel and canceling under Apple wasn’t working either, so I ended up paying for an app that’s pretty useless. I could not get a coach to get back to me for a while and when they did they were of no help. It seems like they’re very disorganized. Not worth the money at all.

### 1/5 — Buggy

*2025-01-18, version 1.1.14*

I did this program when it was PDFs! It helped so much. I wanted to try the app, but it kept crashing and resetting. Hoping to try again once the bugs are worked out.

### 1/5 — be weary

*2024-12-05*

had the trial and it expired. but it still doesn't let you remove your card info. It falsely claims there's an active subscription so you can't remove the card however there is not an active subscription at all. This is not legally sound and though i don't think it's a scam. This needs to be fixed before an anyone adds their card info and it is held hostage.

### 1/5 — Can’t even login

*2024-11-27, version 1.1.13*

I’ve downloaded this app and never received an email to confirm anything so I’ve never been able to login. I deleted the app and then reloaded it. Same problem. Please help with this ASAP.

### 1/5 — Kept billing after cancellation

*2024-11-21, version 1.1.13*

Even though I had cancelled my account weeks before the renewal date, they keep billing my credit card. The breathing exercises were good, but it’s expensive especially when it’s impossible to cancel.

### 1/5 — Offers nothing more than 5-20 minute guided breathing

*2024-06-12, version 1.1.0*

This company is suspicious. Their technique can be learned in a 2-3 sessions. It is not the standard advancing technique offered by STASIS, the company they pretend to be. They offer no additional videos in contrast to STASIS and charge quarterly so you can’t decide to stop their program by month. They really have no 12 week program. It’s just breathing in and out. No need to pay for that!

### 1/5 — Cannot set up account

*2024-04-27, version 1.0.13*

Just downloaded, setting up account; site said they were emailing a verification code, no code is sent. Tried multiple times, checked spam etc. no code is being sent. I really wanted to like this app

### 1/5 — “Step 1: connect your wearable!”

*2024-04-25, version 1.0.13*

Multiple attempts to connect my wearable yielded multiple error messages. Only recommended if you enjoy paying £60 for an app that doesn’t work

### 1/5 — It’s ok but not great doesn’t work well

*2024-03-29, version 1.0.9*

This ap would be good for free, as it is it has bugs- for example one day the sound on the breathing part just stopped. There’s not help or contact section to ask questions or problem solve which is a very user unfriendly sign and always a red flag for an ap. I found my way here through stasis- which is also problematic and awkward, and drove me nuts! So I was excited to see this ap. But what stasis has that this ap doesn’t is options to choose your breathing program and try different approaches. So far after 5 weeks the ONLY thing this ap really has to offer is a bubble where you can watch/listen ( I can’t even listen to it anymore the sound stopped working just on that on that part) and you breathe in 4 seconds and out for 6 seconds. That’s what your paying for. You can find this on YouTube for free and sound works.
This ap could be improved with a help contact section and improve the bug that took away sound. There’s not much instruction around progression and what options you have to advance your breathing practice. The ap should also Allow access to the weekly content so you can go back and listen to the last weeks. If you miss a week it’s gone as far as I can tell. More breathing patterns, like what is found in stasis, being introduced as tools would be good. Unless these changes are made, there’s no reason to give money to this ap. You can find all it has to offer free on YouTube or by following long covid groups which provide articles and information on instagram. If all of this was seamless and accessible I would recommend this ap.

i do love the idea. But your on your own.

### 5/5 — Simply life changing

*2026-07-27, version 1.1.807*

After downloading the app I was a bit skeptical as I’m being advertise a lot of similar programs but Meo actually works for you. It’s a bit of an habit to create but when you get to it, the results are amazing. My brain fog is lifting, some of my symptoms are getting so much better and less reactive. I HIGHLY recommend it!!

### 5/5 — New App

*2026-02-02, version 1.1.580*

New app concept for me. Great survey at the beginning to gather health data and symptoms.

### 5/5 — Great app and services

*2026-02-02, version 1.1.580*

It was easy to use, very helpful health assessment and advice right from the beginning.
The app is also easy to set and connect with wearables.
Outstanding…

### 5/5 — Great!

*2026-01-31, version 1.1.580*

I was honestly skeptical at first, but after a few weeks of using the app, my brain fog and fatigue have mostly lifted.
I went from barely getting through the day to working full-time again. Didn't think that was possible six months ago.

### 5/5 — Structured and help me to track and improve my sleep patterns

*2026-01-29, version 1.1.580*

This isn't just another wellness app; it feels like a medical-grade rehabilitation tool. The 12-week structure is very clear and easy to follow even with bad sleep conditions.

### 5/5 — Finally out of the 'crash' cycle" (5/5).

*2026-01-27, version 1.1.580*

I used to have one good day followed by three days in bed. Since starting this program, my symptom flare-ups have dropped by 80%.It helped me strengthen my nervous system and calm it down next level. Definitely a lifesaver.

### 5/5 — Life is much easier with this app

*2026-01-26, version 1.1.580*

The app is easy to use and has a simple, well-organized interface. It offers a good range of health tracking features that are helpful for daily use. The data is presented clearly, which makes it easier to understand
personal health trends. While there is still room for more customization, overall it is a solid health app and worth recommending.

### 5/5 — Tech for help

*2026-01-26, version 1.1.580*

The automatic data pull clears the brain fog for me. It’s a seamless, low-energy way to track my stats while keeping my nervous system perfectly calm.

### 5/5 — Worth the investment" (5/5)

*2026-01-21, version 1.1.580*

I hesitated because of the price, but considering it replaced several supplements and expensive therapy sessions that weren't working, it has paid for itself in results. Meo definitely helped me calm my nervous system. I love the morning 10-minute session; it brightens my day.

### 5/5 — Pretty cool app

*2026-01-21, version 1.1.580*

I’m very satisfied with the feature that helps me with my anxiety. Highly recommended.
