## What is Meow Messenger?

Meow at me! That is the new way to say "text me".

Meow Messenger is for the very closest people: family, the ones you love, a couple of best friends. That is the whole list. No coworkers, no channels, no strangers selling you a garage.

PAWS INSTEAD OF TICKS
One paw means the meow is on its way. Two mean it landed on the other phone. Pink means it was read — and they only turn pink when the chat was really opened. The paws are honest.

NOTIFICATIONS THAT ACTUALLY MEOW
A real meow instead of a ping. An important one gets through even in Do Not Disturb, because the people closest to you outrank a focus mode.

REQUESTS THAT DO NOT SINK
"Grab some milk on your way" arrives as a card with an Accept button, not as one more line in the stream. If it stays undone, a very polite cat will bring it up again. And every request you complete makes your cat kindness stronger — twenty ranks, from your first favour to a lifetime of them.

NOT ONE MEOW GETS LOST
Subway, elevator, a cabin with no signal — the message waits for the network and arrives. Delivery is a cult around here.

VOICE NOTES, PHOTOS, REACTIONS
A seven-minute voice note from your best friend? Listen at 3x. Photos go out as originals, without being squashed. A heart is one tap away.

CALLS, WITH VOICE AND VIDEO
They run straight between devices. We do not record them.

GROUPS FOR PEOPLE WHO BELONG TOGETHER
Family, the two of you, the cat's own fan club.

WHAT YOU WILL NEVER FIND HERE

### 1.0.4 — 2026-09-03

The cat in the header now writes to you: tap the badge and we will tell you where to send your findings and wishes. Calls got sturdier: the connection recovers by itself when the network changes, a call no longer drops after a phone call, and the speaker button responds right away. Search now covers the whole app, and you can forward messages. Plus many small stability fixes.

### 1.0.3 — 2026-08-21

“Online” now means the person actually opened the app, not just received a message in the background. Calls: the speakerphone no longer turns itself on, both sides hear the connect sound, and while the call is connecting a large notice asks you to wait — it is too early to speak. Tapping a call in the phone log opens that chat and starts the call. Buttons in the photo viewer are visible on any background. Messages no longer get stuck in the send queue.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-08-19

A copied image or file can now be pasted straight into the message box with the ordinary Paste — no extra confirmations. Call recording no longer goes silent when you leave the app: a lost microphone recovers on its own, and the original recording arrives in the chat as a voice message you can play, forward or transcribe again. Muting now silences the recording too. The keyboard closes when you tap the conversation.

The app is noticeably gentler on the battery and now watches that itself. You can paste a copied image or file straight into the message box, attachments gained a Share button, and delivery is more reliable: the notification repeats until the phone confirms it arrived.
