Reboot button not visible ( no scroll bellow connected users) for years now, no matter what version.

Status most of the time shows alerting, troubleshooting just waist of time.

This application helps a lot when it comes to manage fast and easily the network. The Meraki Go system isn’t bad neither it itself but I would love that they could implement the possibility of a DMZ zone. It also lacked of a firmware management system, such as nothing but the geatest Cisco Meraki. I would also have loved that they would permit some working hours schedule with I/O, to shut the system down when it isn’t used, which would reduce considerably the risk that the system might be attacked by a DDoS when the network is down. I would love that they would give more flexibility about the VPN encryption protocol, both for client side VPN and site-to-site VPN. For the switch, I hope they will grant the function of having 2 ISP into the same switch. The Meraki Go Advanced Security Subscribtion isn’t available in every countries as for now, which is an average problem if you consider the security aspect at an higher lever.

If I’m looking at it with a step back, I think that this app isn’t bad. It helps a lot managing the network. About Meraki Go, I think that this is a new company, as for now, that they will have to reach the perfection further. It has a lot of functions, but the best is yet to come. I would give 3/5 star for the app, and 3/5 also for the hardwares. I know they’re moving forward but this is not bad. This is the best money value quality/price that I found on the market, considering you have free support, free updates, and Cisco Technology that is fully compatible with basic CCNA notions.

When I go to hardware/ reboot I cant scroll down the list of “affected devices” to actually reboot.
Its been like that forever, no mater how many app updates

Currently if you buy the license, you can apply it. But you then cannot select any of the features on the app or on the website. The GUI is broken, everything is a dead link.

今まで日本メーカー製ルーター機能付きアクセスポイントを使って来ましたが、やはりMeraki GOの安定性、信頼性は高い。電波強度、通信速度は高いレベルで、しかもアプリでの設定も日本語に対応しており最高だった。新しい通信規格のものが出るまで使い続けたい。

We are all HEARTBROKEN. Bring back our favorite SMH networking product line, Cisco! I for one would gladly pay reasonable annual site license fees to keep using Meraki Go vs having to go back to Ubiquiti or another vendor. Regular Meraki products are too expensive license wise for SMB, and even for businesses like ours with a more stretchy budget, no one wants to deal with your cabal of partner installers/distributors to purchase each product and license. Find a way to sell Meraki base line products on Amazon and licenses direct to consumer!

I purchased a GX20 and then a GR12 - this included the security router and the access point, when I purchased them, I double check beforehand that they supported PPPoE -and did they do……

In order to get to my Internet, I have VDSL so that requires me to connect my ONT modem to my router, currently that ONT connected to my Google Wi-Fi router. 

I got my new GX20 exactly the same settings for PPPoE on that GX20 - including this time the VLAN which my previous router didn’t support - unfortunately, it fails to connect with the same credentials (even when I remove the VLAN)

I would therefore say this product is not compatible with BT VDSL - while it does prompt for using the password this is definitely correct. My previous router called auto negotiate between CHAP/PAP correctly.

Ultimately, I need to have my ONT modem, then my Google Wi-Fi router in bridge mode, then the GX20 then the GR12 why would I have three devices when my current Google Wi-Fi router does the job of all three???

This product is great unless you plan to purchase the security license. Meraki go support is very slow to respond and after a week of awaiting the issue is still not resolved with the security protection page still not loading. I’ve tried this on all browsers and the mobile app. The feature appears to be broken.

Whole sections of the app just don’t work. Unfortunately, I’m only finding this out AFTER I’ve purchased a subscription that I can’t even apply because the “Security” area of the app refuses to load. I’ve tried using the app on an iPad and iPhone.  I’ve tried using a computer. I’ve tried Safari, Chrome and Edge browsers. Support is awful. It takes days to weeks to get a reply and I used to work a tech support job so I began the support request with what I’ve already tried and every reply has been something I’ve already voiced trying in the initial ticket submission. This means you’re wasting time and it’s THAT MUCH LONGER until we get to an actual solution. I previously had Meraki (MX) hardware and left Cisco/Meraki because the software was bottlenecking the network performance. Now it seems like they fixed that, but again the software is a problem. I’m giving it a couple more weeks and then I’m moving onto another non Cisco-Meraki solution. If you need hardware/software that works and you rely on it for mission critical operations you may pass on this as (having now had MX and Go) you definitely feel more like a second class low-priority to them - original ticket date is 9/5/23 - last reply was on 9/15/23 (we’re on 9/28/23 today) and still no resolution.

Ever since an update a couple months ago, the Networks page shows “No devices connected” when in fact it’s untrue and devices are connected just fine. When I tap on the network I get a better idea of the clients but it’s really hard to tell what’s connected or not without tapping on the client to get more info.

Constantly reloads nags about features, hangs when querying devices, shows devices as alerting when they’re not. Told to log out and back in again to refresh statuses. Also, you have zero control over firmware updates. If there is a new firmware available, you have to email and ask to have it pushed to your setup, which from emails backwards and forwards, appears that Cisco can see everything you can!

一年ほど前から使用しております。GR12とGX20を登録しています。家庭用の値段ながら、設定内容は業務用と遜色無く、操作性もアプリのみでほぼ完結出来る為、大変便利です。

一点、こちらへ記載すべき内容では無いかもしれませんが他に適当な場所が分からず、少し困っている為こちらへ記載します。
wifi（SSID毎）の利用時間設定を実施しようとすると、突然アプリが落ちてしまいます。Webで設定変更しようとすると、カスタムの時間が設定出来ない為、アプリの問題ではないかもしれません。
その他不具合等は、自身が使う限りでは見当たりません。
事象確認と改善頂ければ幸いです。

I’ve installed Unifi at my parents house and our church but for our own home I decided to try Meraki Go, and could not be happier. It is simpler and more user friendly and is extremely reliable. The range on wireless access points is much shorter than Unifi but the performance and reliability is superior.
