However, since ios 17 was installed on the iPads, airprint does not work when a global http proxy is configured. It works when the same proxy is configured manually on the ipad, but not when it is pushed out from Meraki. Please can this be addressed asap as is it causing a major issue in the schools, and I can't be the only one facing the problem. ### 1/5 — This is bad for students (basically everyone) *2023-11-14, version 2.6.6* Authorizing schools to take off apps or systems in an iPad could really hurt a student. If it is their only electronic device and the messages app is taken of and doesn’t come back till you leave the school, you wouldn't be able to contact your parents. If I could, I would launch all this apps’ servers into space for it to be the furthest human-made device from earth. He just walked into my house like he owned it, sat down on my chair and ordered me to get out. I’ve been left on the streets since, with no hope of retaining my previous life. My friend, SupremeRants, has had issues with Meraki as well, as he took his wife and kids. It offers APP version control and the ability to view iOS MDM command logs which is missing from most MDM offerings. End-users gives it a bad rating because of the security and control. Enterprises enjoys the benefits of a unified solution to secure and manage endpoints. It does not drain the battery or otherwise contribute to a bad end-user experience. I like that they are constantly evolving the SM product/service and integrate it well into their MX, MS and MR families of cloud controlled network equipment. ### 5/5 — MDM is Great *2016-05-13* I am not sure if I am using the dashboard to its fullest extent but have questions that I can't seem to find answers to. My main concern from the device itself and with restrictions enabled the end user can still go into Settings/General/Device Management and remove Meraki Management from the device. It won't uninstall it and I will receive an email informing me that the profile has been removed. I just feel like it shouldn't allow it to even happen. I'm probably just not understanding this as it is all still new to me and I'm trying to figure it out as we go. I've loaded 17 devices which is about half. I just need someone with more knowledge to help me out a little bit. Otherwise, it's been working pretty good. Sometimes I find the location is wrong by a few states. I'm in Columbus, Oh and sometimes it shows devices in Youngstown, Oh or in Chicago, Ill. Which I can guarantee they aren't there when I have them here. From the dashboard I click on Refresh Location but it never seems to do anything. ### 5/5 — Kids hate, Schools love *2016-04-25, version 2.3.0* Manages your easily walk-off-the-campus iPads. Kids hate it because they can’t screw around on the school’s hardware using apps that you do not allow, nor can they find a way to get around it. They do a decent job of keeping up with the changes and this allows us to manage our devices very well.
