In "Mercenaries Saga 2", control multiple units, starting with the
Silver Eagle Order leader Claude, to defeat enemy units in battle to
clear each game stage.

With formidable and precise AI-backed enemies, and level increases viafree

・Story
Claude is the leader of Crown Prince Laz's Silver Eagle Order.

The mission that day was to protect the Crown Price on a hunting expedition.
But what appeared on the hunting grounds was not a prey, but a killer
out for the Crown Prince's life.

Claude repelled the killer and let the Crown Price escape, but he soon
realized the killer they found had just been a decoy.

He had saved the Crown Prince's life by a hair's breadth, but in the end
the Prince had been pierced by the killer's poisoned sword.

To save the Crown Prince, Claude and his Silver Eagle Order headed
north to find the sole antidote, the flower of Erni.

If you like FF tactics, this one is better and easier to play. Probably the best of this gendre on ios platform.

I’m sure it’s possible to have fun in the game, but it’s just kinda boring to me. There’s a lot of fun tactical rpgs to play that feel better than this, so I’d skip it imo. Also keep in mind that there’s no autosave and dying reverts you to your previous save, not just to the beginning of the fight. Graphics are a 6/10 (being generous,  really simple sprites), characters are mid, and it feels like a lot of tedious mechanics to make it more “engaging” but it just makes fights a chore. The level system works only through attacking from what I can tell, so support characters don’t level up at all unless you make them attack directly, and they’re supports so it just ruins strategy. And just navigating the battlefield is such a headache.

I’m a huge fan of this series and I was skeptical about an IOS version. There’s a small learning curve (movement) but other than that, it’s a solid game. I hope they bring the rest of them to IOS so I can p,at on my IPad Pro. Love it, give me more. P.S. I NEVER write reviews, this one deserved it.

Jogo muito bom, de desenvolvedores japoneses, nos moldes dos SRPGs da era 16 e 32 bits. A história é simples, mas as batalhas são divertidas e tem várias coisas que podem ser liberadas. Quem jogava um Final Fantasy Tactics, Vandal Hearts e Tactics Ogre logo vai se acostumar. Também é uma ótima opção pra quem está começando nesse estilo ou só quer uma versão mais leve. Vale muito a pena pelo custo-benefício.

A great game, by Japanese developers, like the ones on the 16 and 32 bits era. The story is simple, but the battles are fun and there is a plenty of things to unlock. If you used to play Final Fantasy Tactics, Vandal Hearts and Tactics Ogre, you will feel comfortable with it. Also, it’s a great choice for those whom are starting in this style of game or just want a lighter version. A great game for its value.

Great tactical turn based game. Cool character role progression system (which I like much more than the older fire emblem games). 

Only critique would be 
1.) wish there was auto save between missions. Forgot to save once which lost me like an hour of progress when the next match went poorly...(since you can only reload from a manual save).
2.) some abilities are not super clear as to what they do or why it’s worth investing points into. The in-game guide does help but not for everything.
