I type in “Tre” and then the app freezes. This app used to work and now is worthless. Please fix so I can give a higher rating. ### 1/5 — Search for the word “Flea“ *2023-12-26* Search for the word “Flea“ causes both the consumer and professional versions to crash. Same search in the veterinary version brings articles with the word in it. By“Crash“ I mean that the search inside the application aborts and control is returned to the previous screen before the application started. **Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback. If you continue to have issues, please contact us directly at merckmanualsinfo@merck.com. ### 1/5 — Error in medical recommendations *2022-12-26, version 3.0.1* There is a major error in the section on Interstitial Cystitis which gives the exact opposite recommendation to patients who suffer from this very difficult chronic pain condition. The Merck app recommends IC patients do Kegel exercises. But the more authoritative site, the Interstitial Cystitis Association at ichelp.org says this: “Kegel exercises, frequently used to treat incontinence, may make both IC/BPS and PFD symptoms worsen.” (IC/BPS is interstitial Cystitis/Bladder Pain Syndrome. PFD is pelvic floor dysfunction.). There is no excuse for an MD to give the wrong recommendation that will actually cause further harm to IC patients. ### 1/5 — Unable to load data *2021-12-02, version 2.8.1* I will try again but had to delete it because I couldn’t use it.
