However the phone number has been cloned and I often get calls from scammers on the main phone line. Wish that could be corrected. ### 3/5 — Decent App Needs A Dark Mode! *2026-02-21* Please Add a Dark Mode! This is my only app without it. Not great if everything one tries to do takes three or four minutes to figure out. The new app does not take my password. This makes it impossible to login. I am trying to login on an iPhone XS Max with IOS 12. Perhaps there is a compatibility issue? This needs to be fixed please. And yes I have contacted the helpline and have deleted and reloaded the app several times. This is not an issue with my login as I can login on the web no problem and the old app works perfectly on my iPad as I have not updated it. ### 1/5 — Not Secure - Don’t Publish This *2018-08-20* This is a terribly insecure app - with defaults which make it easy to hack or guess full acct number. Please change this immediately! Why is acct number almost a complete autofill? You should NEVER reveal how many digits in acct number? And ALL GOOD APPS - if the do autofill, it is only the end, not beginning, of the field. Anyone familiar with MST accounts could easily guess the full account number especially since it’s all numerical. Please improve the security of this app I will not use it because of the risks. ### 1/5 — Where is the deposit option???? *2018-08-11, version 18.1.76* If you call, a rep will tell you a mobile deposit from the app is possible but they don’t know how. If you search online, you will see tutorials showing the bottom banner with a deposit button but when you open the app, NO DEPOSIT option...!!!???!! ### 1/5 — I can not even see my bank balance. *2018-05-15, version 18.1.76* This app does nothing. I can not even see my bank balance. But now it gives me my credit scor which I don't want. ### 3/5 — Needs one feature to make 5* *2016-12-06* MSDFCU has been great to me for two decades. This app is simple and straightforward. The mobile check deposit feature has saved me countless trips to a branch. It never giving me a single problem...except....that I choose to use complex passwords that are impossible to memorize. I have been locked out of my account several times. Each time (usually after hours), I have to wait to contact the bank the next day and reset all my passwords. Please, please, please enable the Touch ID for this app. My fingerprint is much more secure and so much easier to use than the piece of paper with my password that I need to carry around with a ton of random characters. I pray that the next update will allow me to post a 5 star review for this feature upgrade!! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Was great and then they upgraded *2023-06-23* Since they upgraded a few months ago ebills has not been working properly. The new bill paying process is difficult and time consuming. Once you have actually managed to pay a bill it often displays on your activity and statement that you have paid the money to someone else. I love the bank and bill paying was quick and easy before the “upgrade”. I have called them many times and apparently they are”working on it”. I’m opening an account with another bank so that I can pay bills easily. ### 1/5 — Needs an update! *2023-02-02* This app stopped working months ago and says there’s an issue with my login. But I can log in just fine on the website, so it’s an app issue only. It’s incredibly frustrating because it’s obviously a common issue across users and it’s been months like this. Tried on multiple different phones with different software and only 1 worked that hasnt been updated in a while. However, after switching to my iPhone(~7 months ago), I have not been able to get this app to access my account ONCE. It either tells me that it can’t verify my credentials or it tells me to call the Call Center. Doing the latter just ends up with a customer service rep telling me there’s no issue with my login information, and that I’m not locked out. As I live outside the U.S., not having the ability to deposit a check could end up as a big issue should the need ever arise. They do not nickel and dime you and charge fees for things that you were told wouldn’t… not like WF or BOA… The members at the branch treat you like family and remember your name and children(s) name. I’ve deleted and re-added, reset my phone settings, and waved a dead chicken around. Nothing. Just gets the loading screen and never moves on. So frustrating. ### 5/5 — ios 10 not supported *2019-09-16* Some people are still using ios 10 and the new update just prevents us from using the app. This makes me upset, as I've been a loyal member since the day I started banking. **Developer response:** We value your loyalty and are sorry you are having compatibility issues. As you know Apple recommends that you upgrade your iOS to receive the benefits of bug fixes, security updates, and new features. But Apple also requires developers, including ours to release new versions if a bug or a “safety issue” is discovered. Not to mention adding exciting new features that make Mobile Banking more efficient and powerful. We can not change the app, but we are here to serve you in a variety of ways, online banking, telephone banking, in-person or through the call center.
