I’m used to having my funds available the next business day with Wells Fargo. I’ve been dealing with an issue involving a discrepancy related to a money market fund conversion. Mercury has acknowledged that the problem is on their side, yet more than a week later, I’m still waiting for someone to properly investigate and resolve it. Every day I’ve been told that someone will look into it or get back to me, but nothing actually moves forward. At the time of writing, the issue remains unresolved. Banking is critical to any business, and when something goes wrong, you need to know your bank will take ownership and act quickly. That simply hasn’t been my experience here. I genuinely liked Mercury, which makes this particularly disappointing. I funded the startup account with my own money. The startup is legally registered as an LLC in Delaware. I started connecting the account to 3rd party platforms like WeFunder. And then suddenly, Mercury decided to close my account – with zero notice! They mailed a check with I have no way of depositing anywhere since *duh* my account was just closed. I wrote and provided all the legal documentation and paperwork proving my business is legitimate. No response. ### 1/5 — Fraudulent! If it wasn’t for me locking the two cards I received and not putting any money into the accounts I would have lost money…They make it impossible to close the accounts, I’ve follow all the instructions and I still can’t close the for my own safety. I can’t get in touch with anyone. This is crazy. They ran all these ads in FB to be fraudulent and dangerous. Don’t do this … You will out your business at risk.
