This assigns a score for each drive and overall. It is designed to help people be safer drivers, reduce accidents, and thus save money on auto insurance. It is accurate most of the time and the fact that I can change it to passenger when I do not drive helps allot. It is kinda fun to see the score over time improve and fall. I go over a 35mph bridge which is flanked by 45 mph zones before and after. Small bridge barely over a creek. This app dings me everytime🤬. It’s annoying to have to hit the breaks as soon as I approach it. Should be some time to slow from 45 to 40 to 37 mph. It also trips at exactly 10 mph over the speed limit. Need more leeway to keep up with traffic. ### 5/5 — Amazing app *2025-10-09, version 2.2.1* It’s amazing app ### 2/5 — Plenty of possible improvements. *2025-10-07, version 2.2.1* I have this app because of a correlating insurance policy, and I don’t feel like this app’s tracking is accurate. For example, my last “trip” has ten instances of phone usage, when I didn’t touch my phone at all during driving. I made a trip with one stop, and I only used my phone when my vehicle was in park, off of the Main Street, parked in residential. It also had recorded phone usage before I actually started driving, when I was still parked, before I had left my driveway, as I was pulling up my navigation and connecting my music. This app is not accurate for the instances of speeding, either. Yesterday, it recorded a speeding instance of 57mph in a 40 zone, but my speedometer, and the roadside speedometer, both read 48. I don’t want this app’s bad tracking to affect my policy. There is much to work on, but this app has a good start. ### 5/5 — Easy to use *2025-09-26, version 2.2.1* Set it and forget it. I have the location turned to ‘always on’ like it says it should be, but it notifies me constantly about it. The app also doesn’t look up to date. Don’t recommend. ### 1/5 — Inaccurate *2026-03-21, version 2.2.2* Terribly inaccurate. I’m currently using both Progressive and MercuryGO apps as I transition over to Mercury for bundled insurance. I have a perfect 5 star rating on Progressive and a 46% with MercuryGO?!?! Apparently I am now hard braking and speeding constantly, give me a break, not worth the hassle. ### 1/5 — Not good *2025-02-04, version 2.2.1* I’ve never liked these standardized apps. Hard braking-ding-they’d rather you have a wreck. You cannot drive with traffic. You have to go the speed limit even if it’s a school zone without school. It’s ok to mess with anything on your dashboard, but don’t touch your phone and if you don’t secure your phone and it moves while you’re driving—-ding! ### 1/5 — Inaccurate! *2025-01-12, version 2.2.1* This app is terribly inaccurate. When I downloaded it, I drove incredibly safe to make sure I would get a good rating. And I still got a terrible rating. The best driving day I had was the day I was actually a passenger in a tour bus that got into an accident! Clearly, if they think a bus that went off the side of the road into a home’s fence is a good driver the app should be dismantled. I reported it after as being a passenger of course so my rating went down even more. 🤦‍♀️ this app is outrageous and causes undue stress to the driver trying to achieve something that the app clearly will not let it. It seems Mercury doesn’t want to give good ratings so that they don’t have to give discounts. I deleted the app because of its fallacy and errors! ### 1/5 — I finally installed front and rear dash cams because of this app. *2025-01-10, version 2.2.1* First off my car is totally hands free through Siri. So there’s no need to bother with your phone once you get in the car. But, if you even move the phone to another place it marks you. I’ve got a bad habit of it sitting on my lap and with that if marks you off with that also. Second, speeding is just laughable. This has had my speeding marked at .90 mph. I’ve got children and my alarm goes off if you go over 79 in my car. This alarm is annoying as he!!.. When I seen this that was the game changer for me and I had good front and rear dash cams installed. Well worth the money they record speed and everything so that I’m covered. I know that when my renewal comes due I’ll definitely be changing my car insurance. ### 1/5 — The worst driving app I’ve used *2024-12-06, version 2.2.1* This app says I use my phone when I don’t touch it while driving and no other apps are running. I’ve done driving monitoring with safeco and allstate and both were better than this app. Disappointed!! ### 1/5 — I’m at my wits end *2024-06-14, version 2.2.1* It’s not accurate…I seen I got dinged and my scores for speeding started over. I go specifically to the day it says I was speeding and I NO dings that day. And on top of that I know my insurance isn’t given me a %5-%10 discount In addition to me bundling that and my home insurance. Truly disappointing and might as well delete it all together. Since I returned I have been so sick and can't drive. My friend was driving me in her car. Somehow this app was active and thought I was driving my car?! 😡 Now this app lowers my driving scores to 76. Wow… I didn't drive! Hello?! I don't want to this app anymore when renewing my car insurance. An old lady also nearly smashed into my car two weeks ago just because she made a mistake coming from the middle lane and wanted to left turn quickly to save her time. I had to avoid her car quickly and again, this app lowered my scores. Never again! Can’t wait to stop using this dumb driving app! **Developer response:** You have the ability to review the drives recorded on the app for the last 30 days. You can change the status to passenger for any of those drives you believe were being recorded as a passenger. ### 1/5 — Not Accurate!!!! *2024-01-18, version 2.0* This app does not accurately record driving habits!!! I leave my phone in my purse on the seat and yet the app has dinged me twice for distracted driving/ phone touch. It automatically decreases to a rating of 79. It sometimes fails to record trips at all despite phone being on and app active. I believe that the app does this to falsely decrease the discount.
