## What is Mere?

Mere is a social event app that was created to make it easier to get involved with what is happening in your area. Our belief is that no app can possibly mimic the reward of going out and having a great time with friends and other like minded people. Instead of trying to synthesize this feeling into an app, we embrace the fact that we simply can't compete with in person social interaction. We did this by making Mere a tool that makes it much easier to go out, get involved, connect with friends, make new friends, find new hobbies, and find groups near you.

I love how you can not only create events for your friends to attend but also view and create events for the public.  I can’t wait to use this app to find things to do in my free time.
