There is absolutely zero option to just pay 40 bucks to unlock functionality permenantly. When I don’t have enough money to buy a new watch, already have to manage subscription fees for other services, getting nickel and dimed just to let notifications appear on a watch just isn’t worth the hassle. Not to mention IOS has no real native background tasking so this apps connectivity doesn’t even properly work. This makes it a money drain when I could just get an apple watch or an android phone. I don’t know who’s paying for such limited connectivity but they can’t be too bright lol. If it was way cheaper I would probably bite. Allerdings werden nicht alle Benachrichtigungen auf die Pixel Watch synchronisiert. WhatsApp z.B. Größter Kritikpunkt ist allerdings das Abo-Modell. I click the pro since it’s only $6 a month that’s not a big deal. I GET CHARGED $33 up front. No free trial. I even clicked MONTHLY not yearly. WHAT. A. SCAM. I was just trying to connect my watch. DO. NOT. DOWNLOAD. Waste of your time and money. ### 2/5 — Good first day experience *2026-05-27* I installed the app yesterday and the day 1 experience was pretty much okay. The WhatsApp notifications I received seemed to be missing the WhatsApp icon and seems like they're something else. For all other apps I see the apps own icon along with the Merge icon. Secondly the app does not stay in the recent apps forever even if I just minimize it. Something to do with iOS way of managing memory I guess. The subscription is understandable but the price is a bit on the higher side. ### 3/5 — Drena a bateria do Watch 8 *2026-05-23* Gasta muita bateria do Galaxy Watch 8 e as informações não sincronizam. If you see more than that in battery settings on either device, or if information still does not sync, please email contact@merge.watch so we can help. ### 1/5 — Gute Idee, sehr schlecht umgesetzt *2026-05-20* Habe mir die App runter geladen um meine Galaxy Watch mit dem iPhone zu koppeln und die Health Daten zu übertragen. Leider klappt das sehr schlecht. Schrittanzahl wird nicht korrekt übertragen, für 30min Rad bzw 45min Krafttraining werden jeweils 1-2kcal Verbrauch an Apple Health übertragen. Wenn die App nicht im Hintergrund läuft wird gar nichts übertragen bzw. Erst wenn man die App wieder öffnet. Schritte vom Vortag werden dann auf den nächsten Tag angerechnet was alles verfälscht. Und dafür dann auch noch 5.99 im Monat. Würde alles reibungslos laufen, würde ich es mir evtl. Sogar überlegen. Aber so werde ich die App nach den 14 Tagen testabo wieder löschen. What exactly happens with that money? It's not like there is much developing and upgrading going on. Every so often the app would stop sending notifications to my phone. Even when it said it was still running in the background on my Galaxy Watch it wouldn’t send any notifications. I had to troubleshoot on the Merge app to resolve which isn’t ideal considering I’m paying £4.99 per month for the service. It also drains your battery life. My watch battery would have usually been around 70% remaining at the end of the day, now it is lucky to see 30% remaining with this app running consistently in the background. All things considered, I think a more fair price for the service you get from the App would be £1.99 per month. If this was the case I would have kept my subscription running but I just can’t justify paying £4.99 per month for it. I’d rather sell my galaxy watch ultra and buy the Apple Watch Ultra 2 instead. Hopefully the developers can either make the app work better with no troubleshooting required by users and also reduce the price. They can say the fee is important for the development etc but in reality, it’s just greed trying to capitalise on people like me who wanted to keep an android watch but use it on my Apple device. I paid another month then wasn’t using the watch for a while, so I uninstalled app from my I phone it I paid another month of service and so I went to install the app on my iPhone but I can’t cuz it wants me to pay again before the when I just paid for it and the month of service I just paid for ain’t nowhere near being done **Developer response:** Thank you for the feedback. They just want me to trust the app will suddenly work flawlessly after I pay them $60.
