Example: You can’t transfer your save data to another server where an event is taking place. Currently (July 2022) there’s an event in game for the celebration of the new server and with it comes a 100% Xp and Mana regeneration buff for playing on the server. The problem? You can’t bring anything to the new server, not your gear, not your gems, no content you purchased, nothing. Unfortunately the way it’s currently set up is that it is a hybrid type so if you leave it idle you won’t progress much and if you actually decide to do things manually you’ll also be spending a lot of time just to get one item. The players are designed to either invest a lot of money or time. All in all, the worst part of the game is progression speed. Devs, if you’re reading this don’t take it personally. Just decide whether it’s gonna be 100% an idle game or not. I love the mechanics of gameplay is fun. But sad you only have three characters always. But the worst part that all players should understand is, there’s no point to playing this game because you will need gems to have any kind of growth. The way leveling in this game is awful because it will eventually get to a point where it will take weeks to get to level a character. With gems that you have to purchase can be the only way to progress your leveling. It’s a single point of failure and. The game should allow you to use the in game currency to level your skills and perks but you can’t. Each time you use gems to level a perk, they raise the amount of gems to level up next. It’s almost as if this game is setting players up for failure. The game is discouraging you from buying gems but at same time making it impossible to level up which makes you need gems to level up. Devs what are you doing??? This is a disaster for the gamer!! ### 4/5 — The Game is Handicapping Itself *2021-01-23, version 2.0.1* This game is great, and I’m serious about that. It’s got that Darkest Dungeon aesthetic, the animations are pretty good, there’s a certain amount of randomness to the gear to keep things interesting, and the endless short-term goals keep you engaged... but the scarcity of and dependence on gems to progress, frustrating lack of availability of vendors and chests seriously holds the game back. It’s honestly bizarre why the player has to just wait there like an idiot for the game to spit either a blacksmith, dragon egg, angelic fountain, witch-doctor (or whatever the name of the vendor is to increase a character’s proficiency with one of their gear slots), or treasure chest out for you so that you can maybe get the vendor you desperately need in order to continue progressing. Having premium currency is fine - it’s an expectation for a free to play game - but trying to stay a F2P player is about as solid a strategy for progressing at this game as giving randomly pressing keys on a keyboard and waiting until you type the entire works of Shakespeare (it’s technically possible, but unbelievably impractical). Just letting the player access vendors whenever they need to would be an IMMENSE QoL improvement. You can decrease the odds for blacksmith’s success rate, make every chest’s rewards hidden behind an ad, or whatever else you need to do... just make this happen, please! I feel like a jerk saying it like this because I know game design is tough work, and the gaming industry is cutthroat at the best of times... but it really does feel like the game is trying to stop me from progressing. I hope this criticism is constructive, and I would like to say that, again, I really like this game. ### 1/5 — Save *2021-01-14, version 1.6.0* None of my progress was saved when I came Back to it. ### 1/5 — Forced ads *2020-12-27, version 1.6.0* Forced to watch ad randomly, removed the “x”, went for a minute and then forced to click the link. I refuse to play any mobile game with forced ads, especially ones to this degree... ### 2/5 — Just another Idle game *2020-12-09* Don’t be mislead, this is just another idle game pretending to be an RPG. The game description made it seem like an RPG dungeon crawler. It might have visuals of a dungeon on the screen but all you do is match gear to increase your gear and gold and mana income, so you can match more gear. There are dozens of idle games releasing daily right now it seems like. I don’t care for these types of games. If it’s your cup of tea, maybe you’ll like this game. 2* because the game wasn’t what it was described to be and it got boring very quickly. ### 1/5 — Ad Tracker *2020-11-22, version 1.5.0* Right away it asks permission to track you across apps so it can deliver personalized ads to you. The equipment for rougue and wiz say 19/56 but for warrior I have the exact same amount of equipment on screen and it says 39/56? Is warrior equipment heavier or something? A very easy interface to work with and great graphics! The amount of upgrading options so far, seem to have a nice overall balance, as does combat withe the monsters. Another thing that I really like is the automatic battle. That allows me to tatie care of other things, at the same time. My only complaint, is when new hardware is generated, often one piece is atop another, making specific retrieval, a little more time consuming. Great, game! Worth paying towards!
