Fun game but you spend more time on ads than playing ### 1/5 — Pub pub pub *2024-05-27, version 3.6.1* J’ai payé l’achat in-app « No Ads » pour ne plus avoir de pub. En réalité, ça ne fait que retirer une bannière en bas de l’écran. Autrement, obligé de regarder des pubs agressives pour progresser. Au bout d’un certains nombre, chaque pub vous rapporte des milliards de pièces dans le jeu alors qu’une partie ne vous rapporte que quelques milliers de pièces. Comprenez donc que sans visionner les pubs, il faudra jouer des millions de parties pour gagner le même nombre de pièces. Et je dis pubs agressives parce que quand on appuie sur la croix pour fermer la pubs, ça vous redirige sur l’AppStore au lieu de fermer la pub. Parfois, il faut 7 à 10 tentatives avant de pouvoir fermer la pub, donc on est basculé 6 à 9 fois sur l’AppStore. C’est très malaisant et malsain de forcer la main ainsi. Je ne recommande donc pas ce jeu basé entièrement sur la pub et j’aimerais un remboursement de l’achat in-app. C’est une arnaque, car on est toujours envahi par la pub. ### 1/5 — App has 5 second skippable ads *2024-05-26, version 3.6.1* This app has advertisements that play audio (and some video) while playing the app that are only skippable after 5 seconds. At the end of each level there is a map you are able to apply points earned towards different “upgrades”. One of the options is No Ads. You have to apply 250,000 points to achieve this. I thought that was pretty cool. I understand they need to make money with ads but if you watch enough ads and complete the 250k requirement they would allow you to continue playing with no ads. NOT THE CASE! I completed it and the ads came in just as nothing had happened. The only change was you could no longer apply points to that option. First of all, the lag is so awful that you don’t even know if the game is going to crash. It’s almost as if it’s done on purpose, and it’s enough to make even professional players rage. 2. I don’t know if this is just me, but the time that they make you wait during an ad seems longer than necessary. Also sometimes you have to click on the X multiple times before it will register. 3. I had a round where I was getting so many points, and I was really liking that — up until I realized, THE ROUND NEVER ENDS. The obstacles keep getting more insurmountable and impossibly difficult, until you lose all of your hard-earned points. And I sure as HECK had a lot of them! Who thought this was okay?! So what if you can remove ads? What if you can upgrade? Neither of those things matter when they pull dirt cheap tricks like that on you! The RNG was already awful, but now it’s so much worse! 4. My tablet also froze momentarily not long, in fact almost immediately after this incident occurred. Just deleting this game was a hassle, if you can believe that. Bottom Line: Voodoo Games is an awful company that manages, in almost ALL of their games, to squander hard-earned time and/or money from people. It’s almost as if their brand name is implying that they are of the devil! I have a message for this company. I don’t want your “help”. I don’t want your “sympathy”. What I want for you is to stop making games and recommending other people to play them. And for all those people from whom you squandered money, until you give them back every single red cent I’m not playing another one of your games again. I mean it. Goodbye.
