Recently it keeps prompting me to save either online or on my device then loses my progress and I have to start over. This last time I lost hours of work on the ice cream shop event. Tried to contact to have it fixed with no reply ### 2/5 — Used to be fun, now it’s all bugs *2026-08-20, version 8.5* Over the past year, the game has gotten more and more buggy. The devs keep adding more things to pay for, but not making existing things work. It seem like every other video I watch. I’m not getting credit. This merge game has the most generators I think I’ve ever seen in any merge game, and therefore that also means absolutely loads of generator parts taking up space. And I can see from the book there are even more generators to unlock! The board is too small and so is the storage. It seems to me the main board could be expanded left and right by one square. There is empty space there, but it could be different on different phone screens. Failing that please allow more unlockable storage squares. Or even new space that were limited to one type of item: generator parts, energy parts etc. Also please add more and better stuff to spend coins on. The charge doesn’t stay long for the item boxes and everything costs a fortune to skip. This game sucks. ### 1/5 — Non-responsive Support *2026-06-22, version 8.2* I enjoy playing Merge Inn, but my experience with customer support has been extremely disappointing. I have repeatedly experienced an issue where Side Quest progress resets, causing me to lose large amounts of energy that I already spent completing tasks. Some of that energy was purchased with real money. This has happened multiple times, not just once, and has cost me hundreds of energy points. I reported the issue to support previously and did not receive a satisfactory resolution or reimbursement for the lost resources. I submitted another detailed report with screenshots and my player information, and as of June 22, 2026, I still have not received a response. I have already ruled out common troubleshooting issues. I am using a new iPhone 17 Pro Max, my device is fully updated, I am running iOS 26.5, and I have restarted both my phone and the game multiple times. The problem continues to occur. The most frustrating part is not just the bug itself, but the lack of communication and support when players lose progress and purchased resources. Losing event progress is disappointing. Losing purchased energy without a response from support makes me hesitant to spend money in the game. I hope the developers address both the technical issue and their customer support response times, because the game itself can be enjoyable when it works properly. ### 1/5 — Not Impressed *2026-06-18, version 8.2* I think I am the total opposite of most reviews but I am finding to be able to get on even on level two takes a lot of waiting or pay. I am having to get a sausage but the fridge keeps needing to be charged. I watched a video thinking that would give me full life as other games do but no, have to keep watching more videos and even when I got it full after the one merge it was needing to be recharged. I don’t know if I am doing something wrong or not as all the reviews are good buy this is my finding. But the recent side quest and achievement reward nerfs have made progression feel much less rewarding. Really disappointing direction for the game. Later I stopped playing for a while and got a new phone. However when I wanted to continue playing on the new phone, the saved progress didn’t show up and I had to start the game all over again. When I contacted customer service, they were no help at all and said I needed to get my progress off of my old phone which doesn’t make sense to me as I saved my progress to my apple account anyway seeing there were nothing they could do I ended up playing from over again however there customer service is TERRIBLE!! Every time I contacted them they are no help and don’t seem to care. Now that there are multiple bug issues in the game I’m not even getting any responses from them. It is so fun.
