However, there is room for improvement in the bug area such as when you log in it gives you the option to double the reward by watching a video this feature never worked for me tried several times. Other than a few other bugs like the one previously mentioned this game is great looking forward to the next update. ### 4/5 — Love this but it’s got a few issues *2020-09-08, version 2.23.0* This game is great!! But I don’t like how you have to find guilds it makes it difficult to find the ones you want if you didn’t grab the id and for pets the guild has a great shop but at a point it stops listing them so you have to leave a guild to find pets you can actually buy but the worst part it that it takes soooo long for the guy to move like it’s so annoying once you’ve reached a high enough level it takes hours to get back so that’s all have fun with the info ### 4/5 — Fun but glitchy *2020-03-24, version 2.21.3* Fun game but needs some bug fixes. After a few transformations there is a bug that makes it so that you will get a level less then what you “buy”. This is very obnoxious and makes it so at times you have an outlier weapon or shield that cannot be merged until the game glitches again which is totally at random. Please fix this glitch asap as it makes game play very annoying. Also I have noticed problems with the app randomly closing, not giving credit for adds watched and not allowing basic gameplay. Once you get farther and farther into this it seems more and more problems (glitches) arise. Other then that it is a fun way to kill some time. ### 5/5 — AMAZING!!!!!! *2020-03-19, version 2.21.3* This is a very good game!!!!! There aren’t ads unless you want extra in game currency. Also the ads for this game that led me to downloading it actually look like the game unlike those “Fail” ads that lead you into buying a boring “connect three” game. I love some of the weapons and shields like the giant turkey wing bat or the no turning sign shield. Thanks for squashing that bug and I have updated my review to four stars. I deducted one star due to ads sometimes not abiding the iPhones silent switch. I have played this game for a while now. As others have said, the ads are quite prevalent but it doesn’t bother me. The newest update has quite a big bug in it though which is why I have rated at 2 stars. Clicking on your main character to evolve freezes and locks up the game 100% of the time on iOS 13 and iPhone X. I have to force close the game. New secondary character evolves does not cause the issue. But other than that just trying to figure out how the pets are ranked for the missions. Overall awesome game love it, fun concept not to many ads it’s good. So, handful of ads for this game later I figured ok guys, show me what ya did so much differently than the last million tools. Lmai, Imma eat crow pie here because what you have here is truly unique, and I cannot applaud you and your efforts enough for bringing such a well thought out game to the gamers. Not only the gaming aspect of things, the ad system is the least intrusive i’ve ever seen, and of course they’re are in app purchases but very reasonable, but as generous as you are with your hard currency, it’s only wanted, not needed. It’s about 20% of the time you finish the ad and the game is stuck on a white screen and the only way to get off it is to force close the app and, depending on what you were watching the ad for, not be able to get the bonus. For example getting a +3 upgrade instead of a plus one. You both watched an ad and have no way to claim the +3. If you could just watch ads every upgrade watching ads would be basically forced for progression so I understand why it’s rare for the +3 upgrade. But when it takes several hours before the game gives you an option to +3 your weapon/shield and then it crashes I see that as a major problem. You have gotten more of my money than any other game. Ubisoft just released mighty quest and thought enjoyable, disgusts me. So good job!!! If you all ever make a major mobile game like if you ever made a legend of Dragoon 2 or something crazy awesome like that, I WILL BUY IT!!!!!!!! Those boosts got removed and replaced with new mechanics. Nothing of what you spent gems in the categories that I mentioned help. As far as anyone should be concerned since we didn’t get those gems back in anyway shape or form that’s basically theft. Please restore every players gems back that were used. ### 1/5 — Pretty fun, out of things to do though *2020-02-07, version 2.20.0* This game is fun, I’ve been thoroughly addicted, but I’ve kind of hit this point where I wonder why should I keep playing? If there’s any more of this game to unlock past stage 500 the game has done a terrible job of making me want to work toward it, it’s left me feeling like, what am I working towards? Why am I still playing? It’s not enough to simply transform over and over get more stats. It’s not about just the stats... that gets boring after a while and I guess I’ve hit that point. I’ll probably wait to delete the app and hope for some kind of an update, or another element to work towards unlocking. ### 1/5 — P2W and still gotta watch ads !!! *2019-11-22, version 2.12.0* This is ridiculous. Usually games are either pay money and don’t watch advertisements or just watch them to advance. So let me break it down. Regardless of how much you spend, you will be forced to watch 20 ads a day to get the chests to advance faster and then 48 ads to get 24 hours of 2x battle speed. That’s 68 MANDATORY ads you have to watch. That’s more than half an hour of straight ads you have to watch initially. Then there’s all the other ads for regular stuff that pops up once in a while. You can literally spend 2 hours A DAY watching ads in this game in order to keep up. IM SO TIRED OF THIS NONSENSE !!! ### 1/5 — If you’re looking for an interactive game this isn’t for you. *2019-07-09, version 1.70* Very boring game if you are looking to find something where you actually control the character. They move on their own and attack on their own. You role is to just upgrade your character and then sit back and watch them do everything. It would be fun if you controlled the character but it’s the complete opposite. Not fun unless you like not doing much in a game then this is the game for you. ### 2/5 — Alright until you want an ad reward *2019-06-30, version 1.68* A promising game that unfortunately has a lot of bugs and issues. After the most recent update ad rewards seem to not work more then half the time, after watching the ad through and closing it out, it will relaunch the game, as if you never watched the ad for the reward, this goes for the wheel, gems, 2x speed, 2x cash, etc. There is also a new one where after exiting the ad, the screen just stays white and you have to relaunch it. guilds as well seem to have a dead in the water issue, if the leader quits, it seems to give it to a random person, who could also have been gone for weeks, with no rhyme or reason. All in all, it’s promising but the frequent recurring bugs from a core part of the game being around rewards for ads, it’s a huge turn off. Update: if it does restart the game, you lose all active skills you have on, but it leaves them on cooldown, which is absolutely abysmal. **Developer response:** Hi, please drop us an email at contact@potatoplay.com for us to assist with your problem, thanks! ### 2/5 — Great Game With ALOT of Ads *2019-04-02, version 1.3* It’s super fun but to play, you have to watch an ad every 3 minutes as well as an ad to refill your wheel every 6 hours an ad to refill your sidekicks every 6 hours 20 coin ads a day, and you have to watch ads to get your gems. I’d be fine with the rest of you didn’t have to watch one every three minutes.... also takes away the idle feel because you go twice as slow when idle so great game besides their 2x speed ads! ### 3/5 — Sound? *2021-11-09, version 2.29.1* Pretty good game other that I can’t turn down the music or SFX and when I play these type of games I like to listen to music on my earbuds and so when the music and SFX of the game are playing I can’t hear the music. So if there was just a way to turn the music and SFX off that’d be awesome ### 3/5 — The ad doesn’t give me the reward! *2021-04-26, version 2.29.0* When I tap “Watch Ad” then let the video finish, it gave me absolutely nothing! For example, when I wanted to have a sword/ shield at level 106 to 107, but I could watch an ad to get to 112. But it counts as nothing, giving me no choice but to choose cancel. The ad button is now useless and please fix that! ### 3/5 — Fair game *2020-05-07, version 2.22.2* This game needs a few more modes, like some kind of co-oo with other players. There is a bug/error when upgrading sidekicks, in that you get charged for whatever enhancement (X1,X25,... etc) and if it stops on any level before it reaches the purchased level (example I do X10’s) and sometimes it gets stuck on 3’s or 4’s (and no I am way passed the stage to enhance it) but it charges you the full amount, and there is another bug/error that if you purchase until you run out of gold then I expect the game to get stuck “priming” the enhancement system. Namely that I’ve been charged the gold for levels it did not apply, and it almost always happens if I get a new sidekick and go enhance happy and don’t watch my gold. The guild function isn’t a lot of fun if you don’t have other players helping out and getting into an active guild is hard as they tend to get full. ### 3/5 — The game looks good but *2019-10-25, version 2.9.1* The game looks good but there are too many ads and there’s no setting to turn off the sound. I like to listen to music while I play these kinds of games so having to hear in-game noises just ruins the whole thing Edit: Having to look for the mute button is not effective. I’m not sure why it wasn’t under the settings option (the cog) since that would make more sense than it being at the same place with daily spins and leaderboards ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Amazing Game!!! *2023-07-02* This game is very fun, and addictive too. The only problem I see is that there are 2 different servers. The original server is called Thunderfury, and the second one is Undead King Crown. Now, let's say you got to level 300 on Undead King Crown, and want to switch over to Thunderfury now. Your progress doesn't transfer! I really wish it did, but otherwise the game is excellent. I think this could become a top game someday. I got some more storage and reinstalled it, and it’s just like I remember it. The gameplay is fun and addicting, and the art style is very unique and provides something nice to look at. There is also lots of content, and I don’t think there are as many ads as people say. There are so many elements you can access and if you don't want to, no need. You watch videos to speed up the game, but if you want to make a purchase to really amp the speed you can—not necessary though. Didn't mean to—i just totally geeked out—but I guess I’m 32 on the leaderboards today. I just cant seem to put it down! Anyway, let it idle and do something else, or geek out if you want, but I think it’s worth trying out. Oh, note to the devs: I did a second transformation and the pets glitched a little (a duplication error) as i progressed they all cycled out, but it was a little confusing for a minute. Might be related to the iOS14 update that is glitching so many apps right now. It’s desirable and addictive in every utmost way. But I truthfully believe the quality of gameplay can be enhanced exponentially through adding more content. Don’t get me wrong, there’s already a ton of stuff to do in the game but once you get to around 3000 like me and you’ve been playing for quite some time it seems to become repetitive. I’d prefer some pvp? Maybe real time dungeon fighting between guilds. Guilds being able to announce war on others and alliances being made. There’s so much more to be added and I believe this game has potential to become one of the top ten adventure games maybe even more. I’m a huge fan of this game and I want others to see the spark that I see in it, but for that to happen I believe there must be way more in game to hook people into it like I’ve been.
