The curiosity is so simple, but with all games that come with this comes a point that always eventually happens that makes the players wonder “is it worth it?” To spend the next multiple hours topping the highest house, in this case. Not to mention how basic half of the designs for the houses that this game bases itself around on. Someone could spend multiple hours getting another mega luxury mansion or whatever and then merge it to a mega luxury mansion that they already have just to get not what they were hoping to be like a really cooler mansion or something, but to actually get just 2 mega luxury mansions on one tile, or the same exact house with like an extra window on top or something. Congratulations, that’s this entire game. ### 4/5 — Good game! Just one problem *2021-06-13, version 4.0.1* This game is awesome, and I play it a lot on my down time. However, I think the tapping area for the box is way too small. This is coming from someone with very small hands and fingers so I can’t imagine how difficult it would be for someone with bigger hands to play this game. If you could increase the size of the box even by a tiny bit, I think that would make the experience a lot better :] ### 3/5 — To many problems *2020-12-31, version 3.10.0* I play it everyday but one thing is how you can buy things. No problem I love buying them it speeds up the process. But every time I tap it a ad pops up and after the ad goes away I can’t buy anything because my land is full! This happens every time I tap it so I can never buy anything as I said it makes the process so much slower. Also I love you get more than one land and you can tap them on the right side it’s just that I think you don’t get another land until you are done with the first because you pay so much attention to the same land do you never get to play the other land. I’ve played both but I have so much stuff on the default land that I only ever play that I downloaded this game this I think two days ago and at first like the first four hours I had it the ads did not pop up but after they did and it’s with both lands when I buy stuff so If this was the only problem I would give it four star but it’s not! The other problem is the slots sometimes you run out like I said but the main thing is if your not paying attention then you keep taping it and you notice you keep taping and it just says full if I made the game I would make It vibrate this is not a big problem but a problem ### 4/5 — Great, but Too Many Ads *2020-07-27, version 3.10.0* The game itself is awesome, and I love to play it, but there are just SO MANY ADS. Almost every single time I open a menu or another land, there is an ad. Sometimes I try and get my daily gift, and I enter the menu to get one, but an ad pops up. When I can finally press the button, all the spaces are filled up, so I have to exit and merge the new houses. And sometimes it repeats that way like three times. I am fine with some ads, but really that is all I think about when I play the game. So if you reduce the amount of ads, or change where they happen, the game would be so much better. ### 3/5 — Frozen from time to time *2019-12-02, version 3.8.1* I’d say it’s not bad, pretty easy to play but it does drain your battery mildly fast and it’s all done in one tap, well multiple taps actually. I’m not saying that the 3 stars is bad, in my opinion, I just don’t think I’d play this game so long since my phone pretty much dies quick(it doesn’t but with games like this, yes). Also, I noticed that it froze the game quite often even through ads and when I close my phone during the game, it froze and basically crashed on me so I had to restart it. Cool game tho. ### 2/5 — Meh. Okay at best. *2019-05-05, version 3.6.0* The mystery boxes 80% of the time give you your lowest grade building. You can upgrade…for an ad. The ads are at least 30 seconds long and you cannot close out early unless you want to lose the upgrade. Wayyyy too much tapping. The pieces that fall are in a box that you must tap to open. We already know what those base pieces are, why are they in a box? Just let the pieces fall as themselves and not an annoying box. And unless you want to wait 5-10 second per piece to fall (depending if you bought the upgrade with real money) guess what? You’re tapping on the timer. Please reconsider the base piece boxes. Super annoying. ### 4/5 — Super fun--ads everywhere though *2019-03-14, version 3.5.0* I love these merge type games. I completely understand the need and expect to have ads since it's a free game. And I am more than willing to watch ads to upgrade or get stuff that would otherwise cost in game coin, free. I don't even get too bugged by the banner ad. But I shouldn't get an ad for switching tabs. Or just opening the shop to buy buildings. It makes this game practically unplayable. Put more ads for upgrading gift box buildings and buying buildings in the store and remove the ad for switching tabs and opening the store. I've gotten so many gift boxes that when I choose to watch an ad it doesn't load. It's absolutely ridiculous. ### 4/5 — It’s a good time waister *2018-10-24, version 3.2.0* They should really get their priorities straight with the ads they chose to give you. They won’t let me double the money I made while away because the ad to do so won’t work at all, but they don’t waist time by making me watch a full 30-60 second ad just to open the store. Most of the time the ads do not work when you want to upgrade anything. Just fix your ad problem and please make it to where you can skip the ads when you open the store. That ad placement makes no sense at all and it really makes me not want to play the game at all. ### 4/5 — Time passer *2018-08-31, version 3.0.0* This game is one of my favorites of all the tap games. Hours of game time. Great game if you are needing to pass time. And it’s not a pay to play game which I absolutely love. The only reason I didn’t give five stars is because of the amount of ads you get in a short amount of time. I absolutely understand why games have ads and am not complaining that there are ads. I only say it’s a problem with this game because in one minute of play time half of that minute is watching ads. You can’t go to your other levels or buy houses with coins without having to watch a 20 to 30 sec ad. Needs to be more of a balance with game play and ads. Other than that, GREAT game. ### 4/5 — Videos (Ads) not loading *2018-05-28, version 3.0.0* I have no problem watching ads for free upgrades or crates but they don’t seem to load therefore you miss out on the free upgrades for gift boxes, mystery boxes etc or free crates. Again, I have no issue watching ads in exchange for free stuff but if the ads don’t load then it makes it pretty frustrating to play. I’ve been playing for maybe 2 days now and I actually really enjoy this game. The concept is simple and fun, not all complicated like some other apps with percentages and power ups etc. Fix ads not loading issue and this would easily be 5 stars. ### 3/5 — Good, but long. *2018-05-16, version 2.4.2* This is a good game and it’s actually quite addictive. However, it just takes a very long time to get high level buildings. There should be some kind of upgrade that allows you to have boxes opened and buildings combined while you’re not playing the game—at a slowed down rate of course. Also what is up with those little free money tags that occasionally come up on the right side of the screen? They only give you like 1 coin or something. Make them give you more currency please because buying buildings is a much needed boost. Finally, when you buy a building from the shop it’s price increases too much. Their price should only increase by like $1,000 or preferably not at all b/c of the lengthiness of this game. ### 3/5 — Remove forced video ads *2018-04-13, version 2.4.0* I don’t mind banner ads, nor do I mind video ads if I’m getting something for it. The thing that kills this game and shows he greed of the company is having a video ad pop up if you go to the menu or switch islands. You can get rid of these with an in app purchase but we shouldn’t have to pay to remove something that shouldn’t be there in the first place. Note to devs: if you remove the forced video ads, you’ll actually make MORE revenue. These ads are too intrusive for anyone to continue playing the game for more than a day, and because of this no one is seeing your banner ads or optional video ads because so many people give up playing the game. Idle Balls and Make It Rain have this exact same issue. 5 Star game otherwise. ### 3/5 — Good *2018-04-05, version 2.4.0* I like it but there’s lotta ads and and it’s timed of boring sometimes because because there’s no levels there is just the one thing and when you get to a new level you have to start all over again it be better if you just start on the same level in a different thing like when you have the houses and then go to the beach I had to start all over again which was kind of sad and I think that maybe like in the dragons there to be a camp in different levels that you can go to that level one level two and level III because when you’re doing it now it’s kind of just like you just do it over and over again and there’s really not that much new exciting stuff and you think that you can learn it so that’s what I think about the damage there but maybe there could be something yeah and maybe to be a little bit more entertaining so thanks for making it ### 4/5 — super addicting *2018-03-22, version 2.4.0* wow this is such a fantastic app. it seriously scratches that OCD itch! the ads were super annoying, but this game was so totally worth the 5$ to remove ads. (and I don't usually pay for these things... but it was pretty well worth it... $3 would have been a nicer number tho. 😑) I like that the developers are still working on new areas now and then... the updates are nice. I can't really describe this game... it is basically just what it looks like. but it's SO. MUCH. FUN. I can't really explain it. if you know about "merge games", it is basically that. with houses. but there is NO BS. it is straight to the point, not convoluted AT ALL ("merge farm" for example, is SUPER convoluted). I love it. if you are not familiar with "merge games", then all I can say is give this one a try. you won't think you'll like it until you try it, I swear (that was me). sometimes the ads you play to get bonuses, will not play. which is annoying because that is the only way to get the bonus. that, and it needs a bit more "end game" if you know what I mean... maybe it just needs more areas to mess with. it just needs a LITTLE more SOMETHING, if you know what I mean.... other then that? it's pretty much great! I love the simplicity. ### 5/5 — THIS GAME IS LIT *2018-02-27, version 2.3.1* Ive had this game for a day and I'm Already at level 16 for Greenland and level 11 for sunsetland, and I'm super excited about unlocking Winterland!I love how many different buildings you can unlock and I also love how I will come back from playing another game and both worlds will be full of boxes and I can open them and keep playing!And I get so excited when I discover a new building!most of the reviews will complain about the ads but they really don't bother me!I love everything about this game and I would love if you kept making updates! (a cool feature is you could press and hold to speed up the boxes and another cool thing is that you could spend in-game currency to get box upgrades instead of using real money!)THIS GAME IS MY FAVORITE GAME! ### 4/5 — Stop the ads *2017-12-30, version 2.3.1* I’m sure everyone had the moment when ads were getting to be a pain, this game has WAY too many ads! Almost every time I open the shop its like a 99% chance I get an ad! Every time I switch islands, I get an ad, WANT TO GET A BETTER HOUSE?!? WATCH AN AD!!!!!!!!! want to get a boost? WATCH AN AD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It happens all the time!!! And I hate when ads pop up on the bottom of the screen, and for everyone with a small phone, THIS CAN GET ANNOYING!!! I have an IPhone 8 and I still deal with ads, and it heats my phone, so when I touch it’s really hot, happy to have a case! You should be able to get grate upgrades with coin coney u make off the homes. Once u have anything above a cabin, it takes too long to get a matching building, and once u match that one, you have to start all over to get a match for that, and so on, while the process is longer each time. Why should I have to start from scratch EVERY TIME? I’m not paying $2 to level up to the very next crate each time! I completely understand when I’m watching an add to help me get farther in the game like with upgrading my gift boxes or getting free homes but when I’m just switching from one world to the other or trying to go buy more houses, then it just becomes ridiculous! No, I will not pay money to remove the ads that pop up. I will happily watch ads for bonuses or upgrades for houses, but every time I open the menu to buy something new, or switch areas, a 10 second ad or something like that pops up. Maybe the developers should stop being so greedy and realize that if they took down the amount of ads they had then they would actually make more money because more people would play. Again, a Fuse City is where it’s at. Play that game instead, don’t waste your time watching ads for no purpose. ### 1/5 — Was fun but now it's an ad riddled mess *2017-12-06, version 2.1.0* I actually liked this game when I started, until I went to the store to buy a building and all these ads pop up or when I go to sunsetland and another ad pops up, etc. Everything you do incites a rush of ads every time. And now that I've updated the game there's glitches galore. The main one I've noticed so far is that when I speed up the crates by watching an ad on Sunsetland, I have to close the game and then reopen it in order for it to work. This takes 2 minutes off of the 8 minutes you have. I've tried to contact app support through Apple, but of course that doesn't work either. Seriously, if you want to get rid of this game, then just do it already and stop putting people through hell with an app that doesn't work. I've also noticed that when I play this game, the battery on my phone doesn't even last an hour. What have you got running in this game that eats up so much battery? ### 1/5 — Interesting game, but WAY too many pop up ads *2017-11-19, version 1.9.5* The game would be good if you had 75% less ads and a better leveling up structure. First off, the adds are really pushed in your face. To "lvl up" or even to just use the game Interface. There's a Shop tab you can click to buy upgraded houses and when you do, 3/5 times it prompts an ad. Every tab you use in game can prompt an ad, so you spend more time watching ads then actually playing. The concept of this game is interesting, but the leveling structure is a bit off. Each new house you get will take an exponential amount of time to get. You start with one house, the second house takes 2 houses to make, third house takes 4, fourth house takes 8 and so on. The house I'm on right now is taking me 8,192 houses to unlock. Houses take 10 seconds to "spawn in" and I can only have a max of 19 buildings in my town at once. ### 1/5 — Max out *2017-11-11, version 1.9.5* I agree with all other complaints in these reviews but stuck it out because I enjoyed the game. Unfortunately, I got stuck with so many houses at “max” level, that I ran out of moves. No “game over” indicator or option to reset/restart; just stuck. I contacted support 3 times over the course of 3 weeks for advice/insight but never got any sort of response. Just the heads up that an update would provide higher levels would have kept me on board. I would have waited however long. I ultimately uninstalled the game due to their inability to respond and since they are unwilling to provide customer support, I will not download any other games from this developer. ### 1/5 — Ads game like none other *2017-10-27, version 1.9.2* Ive played games where you have the option to watch an ad to make x2 coins, or get "free" items or whatever...but you always have the OPTION to say no and not get the bonus. This game you Are FORCED to watch ads whenever you change locations, go to your other town, go to the shop, leave the shop, etc. You get no bonus, you are just allowed to go to where you want to go, oh and then when you go to the shop, you can watch more ads to get free houses, they are 4 levels below your max house (watch 16 ads to get a house at your max) Just too many ads too little game! ### 1/5 — Hardly qualifies as a game *2017-10-26, version 1.9.2* How people enjoy this is beyond me. The “game,” is waiting for boxes to appear and opening them to get a house, and then as soon as you get two of them, you combine them. And then you wait. You can buy more houses, or watch an ad for more, but still, the game is the same. No payoff, no effort, no plotline, no variation. You click one, and you click another. So much “fun,” I deleted it within an hour of download, and can truly say I regret the ad revenue I gave them. It was undeserved with a game this lazy and empty, especially when concepts like this have been done a thousand times, the majority far better than this. ### 1/5 — Watch ads to play. *2017-09-20, version 1.8.0* I love those little zen games, the ones where you can just fidget with an app without worrying about timers or points or lives. This is set up to be one of them, but it quickly becomes nothing more than an ad-intensive experience. You start off easy enough, get a crate every 10 seconds which gives you a house, which you merge with another house to get a slightly bigger house. Merge two slightly bigger houses to get even bigger house. That's pretty much the entirety of the game, but unless you really are willing to drop cash on the developers for this, you're going to hit a very real issue. Since the starting blocks never increase, each consecutively larger building takes twice as long to make as the previous. Forcing you to spend the in-game currency that your houses have been generating, or die of old age as exponential growth takes over. No problem so far, but opening the buy menu triggers an advert 50% of the time. Menu options should not be gated behind ads. Ads to get bigger houses, ads to get a few 'free' houses, ads to increase the size of those houses, banner ads while you play. Ads while you change town. Ads when you open up the buy menu. Ads when you bring the game back to the foreground. This is more ad than game, and while I'm very tolerant of ads and the need for them in a free-to-play game, this title is over the top. ### 2/5 — Please read this review! *2020-05-28, version 3:9.0* Hi, my name is Asiah...I know it’s a weird name but I wanted to make an review about this app for 1 extremely important reason. I gave this app a 2 star rating because how so many ads come along in this app. Seriously, every time I go switch off to another world to make matches if that even makes sense but anyways literally every time it has a ad. You really, really, really need to change that because it is getting on my nerves on how much ads it forces me to watch. Like you get to level 15 that’s it except for the new buildings you can unlock in the three areas. Adding more areas like a mountain, cave, hill, jungle, forest, or maybe even a rain forest area would make the game more fun to play. To get anywhere basically you have to remove ads for $0.99¢, (if I remember correctly) just so you have no interruption when your playing and I already bought the remove ads pass it lets me progress faster than without it, which is not really okay, but okay. And this game is a not really fun, but fun merge game compared to merge dragons (which I love) which I thing is bad. C: ### 5/5 — Great Game *2018-12-05, version 3.2.0* This game is addicting and really fun because of the way you level up and change the houses. The way you play it is there is no real money well at least what I know but you have to use game currency which once you start leveling your house up it is pretty easy. I know I gave it 5stars but there is one problem I have it can lower your battery life pretty quickly. Once I was playing my phone was at 100 and around thirty minutes later it was down to twenty which is really quick . ### 5/5 — From A Earlier User *2018-06-05, version 3.0.0* When I was playing this game, it didn’t have many ads. Maybe when you downloaded it matters. I got this game once about 2 years ago and decided to see if the responses were good for me to download it again. I see that the ads are a problem. I just wanted to say ignore the ads. What I do is I multi task. Like when ads come on, I would draw for a bit. I hope you and aome other players can do the same thing during the ads.
