## What is Meridian Dispatch | Travel?

Meridian Dispatch | Plan the trip. Keep the journal.

Plan your next trip with any AI assistant and add it in one tap. Explore the best places in the world. Then let your photographs turn every trip, past and future, into a day-by-day journal.

PLAN
Start any way you like. Ask any AI assistant for an itinerary and tap the link: the whole trip lands in the app, day by day. Pick one of our ready-made routes. Forward your flight and hotel confirmations and let the trip assemble itself. Or start from scratch with a country and dates.

However it begins, each day is laid out on a map with the distance from your hotel and the walk between stops, and the plan reminds you what is left to book.

EXPLORE
Spin the globe, zoom into a country, a town, a single street, and see the places worth the journey. Every one comes with a verdict attached: why it earns the detour, how long it honestly takes, how to do it well, and the one thing to know before you go. Add any of them to your day in a tap.

GO
Nothing to do. No tracking to remember or switch on, no evening spent captioning. Your photographs are the record, so just take plenty. As you travel they fill in the plan, and by the time you are home it has quietly become a travel journal.

DISPATCHES
The trips you took before you downloaded the app are already here. Meridian Dispatch finds your international trips in the photographs you already took and writes them up: every place named, every day written, laid out like a magazine rather than a camera roll. Your best frames lead, the near-duplicates never make it in, and no two pages fall the same way. Every word is yours to rewrite.

Then download or print: a magazine-style journal, a short film cut from your own photographs, or a 3D globe that lights every country you have been to so you can relive your best travel moments.

WHAT IT WILL NOT DO
No followers, no feed, no profile. No badges, no streaks, no distance travelled. No star ratings, ever: a place is worth the detour or it is not, and that takes a sentence. Nothing to check in to and nobody to perform for.

YOUR PHOTOS NEVER LEAVE YOUR PHONE
Your photographs are never copied, never edited, and never uploaded. They stay on your device privately.

FREE TO DOWNLOAD
Sign in with Apple, grant photo access, and the archive starts building. Free covers the last five years and one trip in planning. Membership opens every trip you have ever taken, and as many plans as you like.

### 5/5 — Great travel app

*2026-08-13*

Highly recommend to people who travel internationally a lot, great way to plan new trips and relive your past trips.

### 5/5 — The Ultimate Travel Companion

*2026-07-04*

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Ultimate Travel Companion

I’ve tried countless travel planning apps, photo storage apps, and travel journals, but this is the first one that truly combines everything into one seamless experience.

Planning a trip couldn’t be easier. As soon as I entered my flight information, the app created a personalized itinerary and recommended incredible restaurants, museums, landmarks, and hidden gems that I never would have found on my own. It felt like having a local guide in my pocket.

During my trip, every photo I took was automatically organized by day and location. Instead of scrolling through hundreds of random pictures, I came home with a beautifully structured timeline of my vacation, complete with maps and descriptions of where I’d been. It even reminded me of places I’d forgotten the names of.

My favorite feature is the ability to create a professionally designed photo book and travel journal with a single click. The app transformed my photos, locations, and daily memories into something that looks like it was made by a professional designer. It’s a keepsake I’ll treasure for years.

The interactive globe is another standout feature. Watching my travels fill in country by country is incredibly satisfying and has inspired me to keep exploring new places.

This app doesn’t just help you plan your vacations—it preserves them. It takes the stress out of organizing photos and lets you relive every trip long after you’ve returned home. If you love traveling and want a better way to capture your adventures, this app is an absolute must-have.

### 5/5 — The only travel memory app you need

*2026-07-03*

I've tried what feels like every travel app out there, and this is the first one that understands how I actually remember my trips—the whole arc, in one place.

The scrapbook is the heart of it. I usually come home from a three-week trip with 2,000 photos I never look at again. This app laid everything out day by day, matched to where I was, with descriptions of each place—like reliving the trip in order instead of squinting at a chaotic grid. Then, one click, and it became a printed photo book that reads like a travel journal. I've already ordered two.

The globe view is weirdly addictive—seeing every country I've visited lit up has become my not-so-subtle motivation to fill in more of the map.

And the planning side surprised me most. I entered my flight info and it instantly suggested museums, landmarks, and restaurants—genuinely good picks, not tourist-trap filler. Once I landed, it quietly pulled in my photos and started building the scrapbook in real time.

It nails the before during or after of a trip. If you travel and you're sentimental about it, this is the one for you.

### 5/5 — Amazing travel app

*2026-07-03*

This app lays out all the photos grouped from each individual trip with one click of a button. This is great because otherwise my photos would just be sitting in my camera roll. There is a photo book feature where I can make a whole journal of my trip with my photos and written descriptions of everywhere I’ve been all with one click. So cool!

I also like the planning feature, I enter my flight info and then it lays my trip out day by day with suggestions of museums, landmarks, restaurants etc. very helpful. And then when I go on my trip it automatically uploads my photos from the trip into the app. So cool, I love it!

### 5/5 — Fantastic Travel App

*2026-05-29*

Fantastic way to keep a diary on your trip backed by photos taken each day with a description of your location. The app also allows you to plan for future trips by keeping track of your travel arrangements.

### 5/5 — Fav New Travel App

*2026-05-28*

I’m genuinely obsessed with this app. It automatically detects your international trips from your camera roll and turns them into these beautifully organized, magazine style travel journals. It groups everything by country, dates, days, and even places, so instead of endlessly scrolling through thousands of photos, you get this curated little story of your trip.

What makes it so special is that it doesn’t just organize pictures, it actually creates a narrative from your travels, almost like a personalized itinerary/journal hybrid. Seeing highlights from each place brought back so many memories I forgot I even had.

It’s definitely going to become one of my favorite ways to relive trips and look back on experiences in a more meaningful way than just having photos buried in my camera roll. Such a smart and creative idea!

### 5/5 — Hands down best travel planning and scrapbooking app to date

*2026-05-23*

This is the best app I’ve ever used for scrapbooking my travel photos/activities, and planning future trips, all in one place.

It’s great for organizing photos from past trips so I can relive memories as they happened day by day. Otherwise my photos from trips would just get left behind in my photo album, unorganized, and not collected into a scrapbook for future viewing.

I am also obsessed with the globe feature, as I’m able to see all the countries I’ve visited laid out on the globe. Once I gave it access to the GPS of my photos, I realized how many countries I’ve been to which I’ve never actually counted, and it lit them up across the globe (with my photos attached from each individual country!)

The final feature — the planning feature, is the most user friendly and easiest trip planner I’ve found on any app. It organizes all my hotels and flights, and lets me pick activities based on the location of my stops. Then it automatically tells me distances between activities and approximates how long activities will take. No other app I’ve come across has done this.

Wow. I’ve been looking for an all-in-one memory book and trip planner, and this is it. I will be using it for all my future trips, and would give it 10+ stars if I could. HIGHLY recommend for all the travelers out there!

### 5/5 — Hi, I’m the developer and I hope you enjoy the app.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.9 — 2026-10-05

Planning a trip just got much easier to start.

PLAN WITH ANY AI
Ask any AI assistant for an itinerary and tap the link it gives you. The whole trip lands in Upcoming, day by day, with every place matched to our guides.

FOUR WAYS TO START A TRIP
Upcoming now opens with a simple choice: plan it with your AI assistant, forward a flight or hotel, create it from scratch, or browse our ready-made itineraries. A trip from scratch can cover several countries.

A PLAN YOU CAN RESHAPE
Edit a plan's dates or add a day, and your activities stay with their hotel. Add a hotel by hand and mark it booked. Drag to reorder the places in a day. Still to book is now a checklist, and each day shows the walk between stops.

EXPLORE BY WHAT YOU LIKE
Filter the globe, the trip map and suggestions by the kind of place: landmarks, museums, parks, hiking trails, scenic drives and more. More places now carry a photograph.

A WARMER WELCOME
New travellers start on the globe and watch each country light up as it is found in their photos.

Also: a new app icon (meet the puffin), and bug fixes throughout.

### 1.8 — 2026-09-20

A whole new globe. Fly from orbit down to street level over a photoreal Earth, with real terrain. Every country you've visited shows a photo you took there. Tap it to see your trip laid out on the map.

Explore the world. Switch the globe to Explore to browse the best places to visit in any country or town, filter by what you love, and search anywhere on Earth. More coverage added daily!

Better place detection. Dispatches now name where you went more accurately.

Add a hotel yourself. No confirmation email? Write it in, and mark it booked or still to book.

Made for the trip you're on. The app opens on today's plan, keeps your trip map offline, and turns each day into a dispatch as you live it.

A better photo viewer. Swipe through a place's photos, read about it, and fix a name or a cover without leaving the page.
