## What is Meridian Loom?

Meridian Loom is a field instrument for paranormal investigation, not a toy.

It maps your iPhone's magnetometer reading to a fixed vocabulary — 1,695 words across 20 categories. Every position in the magnetic field corresponds to exactly one word. The mapping never changes.

The premise is simple: if the system is truly fixed, something capable of influencing the magnetic field could learn it — the same way a person learns a layout — and use it to select words with intention. Not randomness pretending to be a presence. An actual fixed structure that a presence could navigate.

That's why there's no random generator, no filler, no noise. When nothing is influencing the field, nothing is said. Silence is not a bug — it's what makes the words that do surface mean something.

What it does:
• Maps real-time magnetometer readings to a 1,695-word, 20-category vocabulary
• Speaks each surfaced word aloud
• Adjustable sensitivity and trigger pacing — tunes responsiveness, never the word mapping
• Logs every session with timestamp, GPS, and full transcript
• Exports session logs as PDF
• Says nothing when there's nothing to read

What it doesn't do:
• Listen through your microphone
• Generate random words for atmosphere
• Let you choose themes or filter content
• Promise contact — only a consistent structure that could be learned

Meridian Loom is built for the ghost hunting and paranormal research community — people who've grown skeptical of apps that simulate activity instead of measuring anything. It's closer in spirit to instruments like the Ovilus than to ghost-hunting games: sensor-driven, deterministic, and transparent about exactly how it works.

The free tier includes 675 words across all 20 categories. A one-time purchase unlocks the full 1,695-word vocabulary.

This is an instrument for serious field use — a structure simple enough to be learned, by you or by something else.
