## What is Meridian Timer?

You know that book you always wanted to write? Or that project that always seems to be out of reach? With Meridian you can track your most valuable asset: your time.

Meridian is a focus timer that remembers. Start a session to allocate your time. Whether it is exercise, work, reading, writing or homework, Meridian helps you focus on the task in front of you, and then gives you an honest review of where your hours actually went. At the end of the week you can reflect on your greatest investment.

Your timers pin to a real point on earth that turns with the actual day and night line. Spin it, zoom it, and watch a session run over the place it belongs to. It is a picture of where the light will be when your timer finishes.

FREE, AND NOT A TRIAL
• Focus timers: countdown or open-ended stopwatch, with your own presets
• A globe you can pin timers to, turning with the real day and night line
• Categories: plan your 168 hour week and see what is actually unallocated
• Your week in review: every session, the totals, the category breakdown
• World clocks, and a sun and moon layer on the globe
• Live Activity and Dynamic Island while a timer runs
• Home and Lock Screen widgets
• Start and stop with Siri, and from Shortcuts
• Import workouts from Health, with nothing added until you say so
• Sync across iPhone, iPad, Mac and the web

MERIDIAN PLUS
An optional subscription, monthly or yearly, for the parts that get more useful the longer you use the app:
• The long view: your month and your year, each on one screen
• Labels: track an effort like "Book Draft" across whatever category it lands in
• Every world: Blueprint, Noir, Ember, City World and Glacial reskin the globe and the timer together
• A weekly email, once your week ends, on where the hours actually went

The price is shown in the app before anything is charged, and it renews until you cancel. Cancel any time. If you stop, your timers and your history stay exactly where they are.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.2.0 — 2026-10-04

MERIDIAN PLUS

The core of Meridian stays free and always will: unlimited timers, your categories and 168 hour plan, Today, this week's review, the globe with pinned timers and world clocks, and sync across every device you use.

Meridian Plus adds the parts that get more useful the longer you keep at it:

• The long view. Your month and your year, each on one screen, so you can see what a habit added up to rather than guess.
• Labels, for an effort like a book draft that cuts across categories.
• Every world. Blueprint, Noir, Ember, City World and Glacial reskin the globe and the timer together.
• A weekly email, once your week ends, on where the hours actually went.

Monthly or yearly. The price is shown before anything is charged, and if you stop, your timers and your history stay exactly where they are.

ALSO IN THIS RELEASE

• The card you see on the way in is a quote and nothing else. The numbers belong in the Review tab, where you go looking for them.
• Manage or cancel a subscription without leaving the app.
• The Today panel now scrolls from anywhere, so your timers are always reachable no matter how much the week summary is showing.

### 1.1.0 — 2026-09-25

Fixes a problem that stopped sign-in and sync from working. If signing in failed for you before, this release repairs it.

Also new since 1.0:

• Labels, for a project that cuts across categories
• Import workouts from Health, with nothing added until you say so
• Completion sounds, and a vibrate when your phone is on silent
• Log a session by hand, and edit past ones from the review
• A weekly email summary, off unless you turn it on
• Light and dark appearance
• Two more globe worlds: City World and Glacial
• Delete your account, and everything stored with it, from inside the app

Meridian still works entirely on your device as a guest, with no account at all.

### 1.0 — 2026-08-19
