Christmas scatters across group chats, notes, screenshots and memory. MerryNest gathers it into one quiet place — and keeps it, so next December you can open the Christmas you had this year. A planner empties in January. MerryNest gets fuller. PLAN A Today screen that shows one thing to do next: tonight's plan, a gift to wrap, or a small family moment. A December timeline, with a reminder only on the plans you choose. GIVE A family wish list, safe to read aloud, kept apart from the gifts you plan in secret. Gift lists by the person they are for, each with its own journey — Idea, Planned, Ordered, Bought, Delivered, Wrapped, Given — with prices, dates and why you chose it. Mark a gift private and it stays concealed, and out of the widget count, until you reveal it. GATHER The Christmas table: the menu, who is bringing what, a shopping list for the store, and the moments that are not food — the grace, the toast, a question worth asking while everyone is still sitting down. BELIEVE Eight readings from the Christmas story with prompts, a reflection that rotates through December, and Luke 2:1-20 (KJV), offline. You choose at setup whether to include any of it. Switched off, MerryNest is a complete family Christmas without it. Never behind a purchase. REMEMBER Photographs, notes, prayers, and the thing your four-year-old said, grouped by Christmas. Mark one as the favourite. In December, "On this Christmas…" brings back earlier years. No streaks, no badges, and no notifications unless you turn them on: MerryNest does not want you looking at a phone on Christmas morning. RETURN This is what MerryNest is for. Christmas Through the Years opens every Christmas kept here. Our Christmas Recap tells one back as a story from your own records. The Time Capsule lets you write something this Christmas and open it the next. And a tradition carries every year you kept it, with what you wrote at the time. OUR CHRISTMAS JOURNEY Twelve moments of December that light up from what you already did. No scores, nothing to lose. YOUR CHRISTMAS CARD, FROM YOUR OWN YEAR Eight designs, your palette and type, your photograph placed where you want it. Add a line or two from what your family actually did — traditions kept, a kindness, something one of them said — chosen by you, never inserted for you. Send it as an image or print a 5x7. Every card is kept, so next December you can see the one you sent this year. Gifts never appear on a card: the person reading it might be on that list. FAMILY BOARD The one thing that leaves your iPhone, and only if you ask. Share the plans and jobs of Christmas with the people doing it with you, through your own iCloud. Gifts, hiding places, budgets, private notes and memories stay on your device. MERRYNEST PLUS The free app runs your whole Christmas — Today, the countdown, all the Christian content, Christmas Eve and Day, traditions, kindness, plans, the table, the Journey, and this year's card. Plus removes the limits and unlocks the returning: Through the Years, the Recap, the Time Capsule, Tradition History, Table Moments and every card you have sent. Nothing renews. Buy once and keep it for every Christmas, or unlock a single Christmas instead. PRIVACY, CONCRETELY - No account, no sign-in, no email address, ever - Your gifts, plans and memories are stored on this device; there is no MerryNest server to upload them to - Family Board is the opt-in exception: what you put on a board is stored in your own iCloud and shared with the people you invite - No analytics, crash reporting, advertising or tracking - Closing a Christmas keeps it. Nothing is deleted unless you delete it Save a copy of every Christmas to iCloud Drive or Files and restore it on a new iPhone. Requires iOS 17 or later. Family Board shares a board through iCloud; your own records stay on this device and do not sync between your devices yet. During Advent, with Christian content on, that can be lighting this week's candle. - Your Christmas so far: the plans, traditions and memories you have kept, on one line. - A family wish list, separate from gifts. Wishes are safe to read aloud, and nobody sees who is buying what. - Gift ideas, a wrapped-gifts page, and photos on gifts. - Memories as a photo grid, with "On this Christmas…" bringing back earlier years. - Preparing Our Hearts: Advent weeks, prayers and small daily practices. - Optional reminders, all off until you turn them on, and quiet Christmas music you start yourself. ### 1.2 — 2026-09-18 Your Christmas card, and one board you can share. - Christmas cards, made in MerryNest. Eight designs, your palette, your type, your photograph. Add lines from your own year if you want them - traditions kept, a kindness, something someone said. Send it as an image or print a 5x7. - Every card is kept. Christmas Cards Through the Years shows every card your family has sent. - Family Board. Share the plans and jobs of Christmas with the people doing it with you, through your own iCloud. Making, sending and printing this year's card is free. ### 1.0.1 — 2026-09-16 MerryNest Plus is now available to buy — once, and forever. KEEP EVERY CHRISTMAS SAFE Save a copy of every Christmas you have kept here to iCloud Drive or Files, and restore it on a new iPhone. Restoring only ever adds; it never deletes what is already there. YOUR CHRISTMAS BOOK Turn your Christmases into a real book — to keep, to send, or to print and put on a shelf. THE SAME QUESTIONS, EVERY YEAR Four short questions, answered each Christmas by everyone in the family, with what they said in earlier years underneath. Ask a six-year-old. Read it back when they are sixteen. THE SAME PHOTOGRAPH, EVERY YEAR Take this year's family photograph with last year's showing faintly through the camera, so the framing matches and you can watch your family grow up in it. WHAT YOU GAVE BEFORE Open anyone on your gift list and see what you gave them at past Christmases — so nobody gets the same thing twice. WHERE IT IS HIDDEN Write down where you put a present in September. Find it again on Christmas Eve. ONE NOTIFICATION A YEAR Seal a Time Capsule and MerryNest can tell you, next December, that it is time to open it. It is the only thing MerryNest will ever send you on its own, and you choose it. ### 1.0 — 2026-09-14 No release notes. ## Apps similar to MerryNest | App | Rating | Price | Category | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | [Rochester Public Library (MN)](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/rochester-public-library-mn/id1594373326) | 2.2 (5) | Free | Lifestyle | | [Kept: AI Photo Journal & Diary](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/kept-ai-photo-journal-and-diary/id6742471242) | 4.8 (18) | Free | Lifestyle | | [Keepbox - Save Your Kids Art](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/keepbox-save-your-kids-art/id6742782490) | 4.7 (261) | Free | Lifestyle | | [My Color Analysis・AI StyleLab](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/my-color-analysisai-stylelab/id6468986813) | 4.5 (1,648) | Free | Lifestyle | | [Hairstyle Try On](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/hairstyle-try-on/id295436048) | 4.0 (6,888) | Free | Lifestyle | ## More apps by Kaspar Works, LLC - [Ullam — Private Diary](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/ullam-private-diary/id6776832948) - [Dialysis live](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/dialysis-live/id6777509941) - [BirdQuest AI: Bird Identifier](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/birdquest-ai-bird-identifier/id6777554360) - [DopaDo: ADHD Habit Tracker](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/dopado-adhd-habit-tracker/id6779803677) - [PickleCrew: Pickleball Scores](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/picklecrew-pickleball-scores/id6815026461) All apps by Kaspar Works, LLC: https://appshunter.io/developer/6776832950 --- *Data collected daily from the US App Store and indexed by [AppsHunter](https://appshunter.io/).
