## What is Mesavo?

Mesavo is a modern messenger for direct, focused communication on iPhone and iPad.

Features:
- Sign in with Apple, Google, an email code, or an SMS code
- Text, photo, video, and voice messages

- Synced drafts and archived conversations

Mesavo does not access your address book or sync your contacts. Content published directly in Mesavo is automatically checked to help protect the community. Optional smart dictation starts only after explicit consent.

Chats remain clear and usable during connection problems. Previously loaded messages are available again after restarting the app. Search now also finds messages in locally stored history. We have also improved message updates and navigation.

Mesavo 1.4.7 adds optional team workspaces. Workspace members appear directly in Chats, reusing an existing conversation when opened. Teams expand to show their channels, and the channel directory identifies each channel's team. Workspaces also provide shared files, meetings with screen sharing, consent-based recordings and moderated breakout rooms, notifications, and administration. Accounts without a workspace membership still open directly in Personal.

Video calls now use the full iPhone screen with compact, easy-to-reach controls and a movable self-view. Rotation, returning to the call, and first-time camera and microphone permission handling are more reliable.

This update also improves message refresh after notifications and app transitions, along with the reliability of sending and displaying media.

Workspace messages, typing indicators, and presence now refresh in real time too. Previously loaded older messages remain available after synchronization.

Personal conversations now use an additional real-time connection to refresh new and edited messages, deletions, reactions, and read status. A small bubble with gently moving dots shows typing in its own row below the last message. Reduce Motion is respected, while existing message synchronization remains available as a fallback.

Messages now display bold, italic, strikethrough, code, lists, and quotes consistently in personal chats and workspaces. Identifiers containing underscores remain unchanged.

If a Sender link was revoked, Chats now explains why its conversations and calls are hidden, names the affected profile, and provides a direct path to scan a new QR code.
Message input, history refresh, reconnect handling, and image and video previews now share common components across personal chats and workspaces. Personal accounts, workspace memberships, and media permissions remain separately protected.

Account settings now let you choose or remove an optional profile picture. The same picture appears in personal chats, calls, and authorized workspace member lists.

Start meetings directly from a workspace channel or schedule daily, weekly, and monthly meeting series. Current channel members can join later, with invitations and a clear occurrence limit. The meeting overview groups live, upcoming and past meetings into clear cards with direct joining, compact responses and expandable details. Scheduling opens separately.
