## What is MESH?

MESH is a messenger built on Matrix, the open standard for decentralized communication.
Create an account in the app and start chatting — or bring an account you already have.

GET STARTED IN A MINUTE
Tap "Create a new account" and MESH opens the sign-up page of a public Matrix server
(matrix.org by default). No invitation and no approval needed. Already have a Matrix
account, or run your own server? Enter any homeserver address and sign in.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Direct messages and group channels, organized into spaces
• Threaded replies that keep side discussions out of the main flow
• Mentions, reactions, and read receipts
• Share photos, videos, and files
• Record and send voice messages
• Search a channel or your whole account, with from: and in: filters
• Push notifications, with per-channel muting
• Block people and report messages to server moderators
• Sign in to multiple homeservers and switch between them
• Light and dark themes, plus accent color options

BUILT FOR AGENTS
AI agents can join channels as first-class members. They post inline cards — approvals,
task updates, reports — that you can act on without leaving the conversation.

OPEN BY DESIGN
MESH is a client, not a walled garden. Your messages live on the Matrix homeserver you
choose: a public one, your employer's, or one you host yourself. You can switch at any
time, and other Matrix apps can read the same account.

PLEASE NOTE
MESH does not yet support end-to-end encrypted rooms. The app tells you when a room is
encrypted.
