## What is Message Recovery?

Message Recovery keeps a readable copy of your chats, so a message the sender deletes later is still there for you.

HOW IT WORKS
Export a chat from your messaging app, with or without media, and share the file to Deleted Recovery. The app reads it on your iPhone and files every message, photo, video, voice note and document into a private archive. When you import the same chat again later, anything the sender has removed since stays in your archive, clearly marked as recovered.

WHAT YOU GET
* Deleted messages – every message removed by the sender, in one list, sorted by day
* Chat view – the full conversation with recovered messages highlighted
* Media gallery – photos, videos, voice notes and documents from your exports
* Search – find any message, person or file across every chat
* Filters – chats with deleted messages, with media, or groups
* Direct message – start a chat with a phone number without saving it to your contacts
* Encrypted backup – save your whole archive as one AES-GCM encrypted file, with an optional passphrase, and restore it on another device
* App lock – Face ID or a passcode, plus a private vault for sensitive messages

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Everything stays on your iPhone. Deleted Recovery has no account, no ads, no analytics and no servers. Nothing you import is uploaded.

GOOD TO KNOW
Deleted Recovery can only show messages that were included in a chat export you shared with it. It cannot read other apps' data or notifications, and it cannot bring back a message that was deleted before you exported the chat. To keep the most, export your important chats regularly.

Message Recovery is an independent app and is not affiliated with any messaging service.
