It is very therapeutic as the regular cycle of the gull's flapping wings calms one's soul as if they are cradled and rocked back and forth as a baby. There are no advertisements or in-app purchases, there are no needless distractions to catch your eye... What else do we really wish for in a game? It's unjust that so many know of Flappy Bird but none know of Messenger Gull. Flappy Bird only served to anger and disappoint us, while Messenger Gull teaches us while we play that this disappointment is the natural result of the process of achieving greatness. The game's art does not obsess itself needlessly with the superficiality of visual perfection; it is a natural and gracefully drawn kind of art which directly enters our spirit that we may understand it without any issues due to its simplicity, unlike the overly complex and glamorous styles of many modern games. The only request I have is that there should maybe be more messages added, since they repeat every now and then; but even then their repetition allows us to meditate on them and fully understand their implications. Also, the gears are broken, since in the original intention of the game they contract but when I played it they simply stay opened, so you can easily pass through their middle. The developer is modest and humble and demonstrates a great quality of his spirit by making such a wholesome game!
