Warning ⚠️ I have encountered an issue with messaging that specifically applies to Marketplace: I've been listing some items recently and things were going well, met up at a local public spot sold one. All was going good...until suddenly yesterday I received another MP message and Messenger stopped me from replying by prompting that I must verify my identity due to 'suspicious activity'. Okay, I don't mind doing so, I've got nothing to hide. So I scan my government issued DL right... and it rejects! It allowed me to reply anyway, only to do it again and again when additional messages come. NOW I CANNOT REPLY TO POTENTIAL BUYERS! AI (separately in a browser, not FB) told me a list of possible causes, but it's not definitive. I have done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG! This is A PROBLEM. I AM NOT IMPERSONATING SOMEONE! I have had the same devices for years, my account is well over a decade old, I have verified myself in NUMEROUS WAYS PRIOR. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO REASON FOR THIS!! Now I'm stuck waiting 24-48hrs as the AI suggested before attempting again. Meanwhile people think I'm ignoring them! THIS SUCKS!!! FAIL!!! Developers: PLEASE FIX THIS PROBLEM!
