## What is Met Opera?

The official Metropolitan Opera app is the only way to access rush ticket lotteries for every Met performance. You can also purchase regularly priced tickets for any production at the Metropolitan Opera House in Lincoln Center, and gain access to exclusive discounts on select performances throughout the year.

Lucky for us we are residence of Lincoln Sq. But anybody who visit here in NYC, must experience once in a lifetime spectacular events.  They will not disappoint you.

Is a frequent opera! goer this is a really good app to have. All of your tickets are in one place and pay attention to the notifications because every now and then the app send you discount to certain performances and I’m always on the lookout for their notices! 
There are still some bugs to work out like for instance, it does not let you exchange on the app. I would appreciate it if they added that feature.
But I am appreciative that they worked out the other bug having tickets that you buy elsewhere show up on the app. I am glad that this app exists thank you!

No more rush tickets are showing up.  Are you no longer doing this?

Be aware if you buy here tickets far in advance! There is no way you can change them if you’re suddenly out of town! Not sure why this policy is in place in this APP because I’ve been always able to change my tickets at the MET! The prices are not discounted so not sure why tickets can’t be changed if you buy them on this app!

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback. Subject to availability, if you are unable to attend a performance, you will be eligible for a complementary exchange into a future performance in the main season. Exchanges may be requested up until the performance curtain time, and ticket buyers will be asked to pay the difference in price should the replacement performance ticket price exceed the price of the original ticket. Tickets may be exchanged by calling 212.362.6000, with the exception of Rush Tickets which are not eligible for exchange.

Historically to buy tickets online for the Met has been fretted with difficulties. I hoped this app would solve that but unfortunately it does not. The different sections of the Met have the top sections cut off. If you go online you may see that there are seats available but this app doesn’t show them. I couldn’t find a way to move the section to be able to see the top of the screen but nothing worked.
When I tried to buy those seats online rather than on the app the online version does not work. You click on the seat that you want and nothing happens. I hope they are able to fix all this.
