This isn't a "decision aide".   It's just a (not very good) source of diabetic information, any of which could be more easily found somewhere else.

Got new update! Open it and it started updating chapters. Never completed task even after 6 hours.  Cannot get into the Ap! Updating!! 
I cannot send as it says to "please rate it! So what am I to do! One star? I liked it before the update!

This app is really buggy and constantly crashes. Even when it manages to stay up for a moment, the information is very limited and there is little flexibility in the data you can collect, store, or display. BSLs that are recorded often overlap each other making the history hard to read or review. No graphs at all. And if a error in data is accidentally entered, there is no way to delete, fix, or correct it!  I want my money back!!!

I've been trying to register & use this app for about 2 weeks but keep getting a message saying there is no response from the company's server. Is this app still active?

The content is decent, but note the app is sponsored by educational grants from BMS, AZ, B-I, Lilly.  The information does seem balanced however.

The most irritating thing is the app is riddled with very cheesy sound effects and unnecessary transitions (an opening animation with a musical sound effect, a click sound for every selection, a page flip sound to change pages, a slow scroll).  All of these make an app presumably designed for adults and professionals seem like a slower-than-needed-and-noisy kiddie app.  This is on an iPad 4, with 64G RAM, iOS 7.

Very useful. All the contents are regularly updated. As a rural medical practitioner in India, I find it worth the price.

This app is great since you can constantly keep up with new information about the subject everytime you open it. You do have to download that new info though but it's not a lot. Very useful for quick reminder and updates!

Diabetes is a disease for life. This app is a living medical eTextbook that explains all of the features of management of diabetes. It includes information on administration of insulin.
