## What is Metabolic Shift?

Metabolic Shift helps you keep a food journal, review nutrition information, and understand your daily eating patterns.

Log meals with text, photos, voice, or packaged-food barcodes. Review portions and nutrition before saving. Reuse meals from your private meal history and explore calorie, macro, and nutrient summaries.

Your journal and profile are stored locally on your device. Apple Health is optional and provides read-only context for the information you choose to share.

Choose on-device AI on supported devices or connect your own compatible AI provider. Internet AI features send your input to your chosen provider with your permission. Provider availability, charges, and data handling depend on that provider. AI nutrition results are estimates and should be reviewed.

Metabolic Shift supports general wellness and is not intended to diagnose, treat, or prevent disease. It is designed for adults aged 18 and older.
