## What is Metalaire Pitch Finder?

Find your roof pitch in seconds without climbing a ladder.

Metalaire Pitch Finder measures the pitch of a gable or hip roof from a photo taken from the ground. Stand square to the gable, take a picture, drag the dots onto the left and right rake edges and you get the pitch as X:12, the slope in degrees, and both sides checked against each other.

HOW IT WORKS
• Live camera with a level line that turns green when your phone is square and level. The app uses your phone's motion sensor to correct for tilt.
• Use your camera or pick a photo you already have.
• Pinch to zoom and use the magnifier to place each point precisely.
• Auto finds the roof in the photo and places the lines for you, all on your phone. You check and adjust.
• Optional eave line for an extra level check on any photo.
• Left, right and average pitch with a reading-quality badge and tips if something looks off.
• Level mode: lay the phone on a rake board or roof and read the pitch directly. Flip & average cancels sensor error.
• Works on gables and hip roofs.

SHARE AND ORDER
• Share the marked-up photo with your pitch on it from the share sheet, or save it to Photos.
• Send your pitch to Metalaire for a quote straight from your email app.
• Shop gable louvers, dormer vents, roof vents, flashing, cupolas and finials, all built to your roof pitch.
