Basically impossible to understand how to find a picture in your camera roll or albums to bring it in for editing.. No icons, prompts or help Importing a photo to edit is so fundamental it should have its own super clear control or icon. I'm giving you 5 stars.… but WHY are the thumbnails in the date edit function so TINY!? It's incredibly difficult to see what's going on in a bunch of pics taken in similar locations. Please, I love the scrolling function, I just need the thumbnails to be at least 2x the size. Jetzt mit der Einführung von iOS 15 kann man sowohl ein Datum ändern als auch einen Standort hinzufügen/ändern, deswegen ist die pro Version leider jetzt sinnlos. Not having a share extension when I’m already working with an image in any app including Photos and Preview and others pushes me to Finder a bit too often. Not a deal breaker, just a nice to have if it can be done. Next, a quick review: This utility is perfect for managing data in files from Finder or from within Metapho without having to open them one at a time in Adobe or Affinity. Metapho does what I need it to do quickly and easily on my MBP, iPhone and iPad. The developer is friendly, exceptionally quick to respond, and fast to push fixes out after a bug has been confirmed. Get it for iOS and iPadOS too where it works just as great and is just as useful. ### 5/5 — A Swiss Army Knife of an App *2025-11-12, version 2025.3.1* Truthfully I have used this app for years prior to the higher IAP. But I would still pay it today. Metapho really is a Swiss Army Knife as you might. When needed and used, it’s there ready to go. The multitude of actions are brilliant, swift and just work. The UI is understandable and quick without the clutter or iOS Liquid Glass trash. Developer is immediately able to be reach through email for any issues or questions with fast action on any problems and quick updates to address them. Regardless of IAP price, this is something few other devs do (on their own or as a team). It’s one of those apps that’s personally more of a necessity. The UI is clean, intuitive, and shows all metadata info you could ever need for a photo. Another great feature of this app is that it saves photos without changing the extension or compression. For example, a .HEIC will be saved as a .HEIC, while many other apps will save all photo types as a .JPEG. The only feature this app is missing is the ability to add and edit IPTC tags.
