## What is METAR Plot?

METAR Plot for Apple Watch displays station models (plots) as well as raw METARs for most airports worldwide, using current METAR data. 

The app features two stations lists: nearby and user-defined. While the entire station database can be used offline (to add station or lookup nearby station), an internet connection is required to load METAR data. Data is updated automatically.

Preferences can be set for type of flight rules and units (visibility, temperature, and pressure). Options for observation time in LT or UTC as well as sort order of user list.

The app works completely independent from your iPhone and includes complications for watch faces with rectangular and circular types.

As a former wannabe pilot (I ran out of money for enough lessons), I love this app and now use its info when climbing mountains in the UK. Where better to get accurate, regular and detailed weather reports than nearby airports? I have this on my watch and AeroWeather on my phone and they’re a gr8 combination.

Love the graph METAR, really useful and fun to have all information at a glance. Sadly, the complication does not work with the “Modular” face (only with the “Infograph modular”) which is my favorite one to use flying (whereas AeroWeather does). It would have been a 5/5 for me if all faces currently supported by AeroWeather would be supported by this app too.

After eventually receiving app support, got the app installed. Nicely laid out and easy to pick out info. Only thing I would add is it would be handy if the image displayed cloud base as well as coverage.
