## What is Meteo Stat App?

Meteo Stat App compares weather forecasts from three independent sources on a single screen, showing where they agree and where they diverge.

REAL-TIME COMPARISON
View temperature, rain, wind and conditions from Open-Meteo, OpenWeatherMap and WeatherAPI side by side. The percentage deviation between providers is highlighted with colors: green when they agree, yellow for moderate differences, red for significant divergences.

DETAILED FORECASTS
Up to 16 days of hourly forecasts divided by time slot (Night, Morning, Afternoon, Evening). Tap any card to explore day-by-day details.

- New: "Tomorrow's weather" — a short summary for morning, afternoon and evening, calculated as an average of the available data from third-party weather sources.
- Clearer rain probability: each value now reflects the right window — the current hour on the main card, the whole part of the day (morning/afternoon/evening), and the full day on their own cards.

• Improved handling of connection errors: when the server is momentarily slow, the app no longer reloads in a loop and instead gently indicates the currently available sources.
• Fixed neighborhood name display for your current location (e.g. "Castro Pretorio" instead of the administrative municipality).
• General stability improvements.

Added favourite cities: save them with a star and switch between them in one tap from the search bar. Fixed cases where aggregated values from different sources didn't match on today's card. Improved live rain radar detection, reducing false alerts, and increased the maximum zoom level on the radar map. Alerts now open from a dedicated button instead of taking up the screen.

- Clearer weather alerts: the temperature in alerts now explicitly reads "forecast max temperature".
- Seasonal-deviation alerts now also appear on very hot days (previously they could be hidden behind the extreme-heat alert).
- Updated historical reference averages to a wider period (2005–2024): more accurate, location-consistent anomaly alerts.
- More reliable alerts: if the historical archive is unavailable, the app retries and uses the last available data.
- Cleaner, more compact home screen with consistent spacing.
- Temperature trend chart now always fully visible, even on smaller screens.
- Stability fixes and minor visual tweaks.
