Such as an increased meteor frequency during natural meteor showers that perhaps match the actual/typical/average frequency of the corresponding shower. Another cool thing would be a wider or adjustable field of view and a sky that moves. Those would truly deal the experience as actually watching a meteor shower! Otherwise it's not a bad app. It's a lifelike app in regards to everyday meteor frequency. Will open this up on a few dates where we're stuck inside. ### 4/5 — Pretty cool! *2015-08-27, version 1.1* It's kinda like actually watching for meteors, since it seems to be entirely random in terms of frequency. It's been stable, no crashing out, and is great for showing kids how to look out for meteors ready for a shower! It is, indeed, a simple, basic app which does exactly as described. The other reviewers must really not understand what this app is about. It's a simple night sky with shining stars and the occasional shooting star. It's beautiful, magical and relaxing. No in app purchases, no ads, nothing but a beautiful night sky. I wish people would appreciate the beauty and simplicity of this app. I use stellarium on my iPhone a lot, but unfortunately you can't turn off all the star names and you can't watch shooting stars. This app is perfect for me and I highly recommend it. I'd also really love to see this on my Mac on the big screen!
