Like that it tells you the outlook for the shower given the current moon phase. Also like that you can set a reminder directly in the app. Very handy that it works in offline mode so if you are in a remote area to view the shower you can still get info about the shower. Needs the ability to add notes within the app so that if you viewed a shower you can jot down info like: where you were and how many you saw. Then give a visual clue in the list to help you find those quickly or filter for those that have notes. ### 4/5 — Very good app *2014-08-10, version 1.6.0* I've used this app for several years to plan viewing. Lots of information and the Moon interference guide is invaluable. ### 3/5 — Needs Updated Catalog... *2014-03-03* I like what the app provides and have not had any crashes on my iPhone 5. What does concern me is that comet 209P/LINEAR's shower was left out of the Catalog. Wonder what others have been left out? Needs a notification system and start and end date for every meteor shower. ### 4/5 — Great app, needs work. *2013-11-01* I really like this app a lot. I love watching meteor showers and this helps me find the peak hours very quickly and easily. The only issue I've run into so far is after looking at the specifics of a shower, I hit the alert button to add it to my calendar and the app crashes. When I check my calendar the info was saved making me happy. But the crashing part is a bit of a pain. Otherwise, great app and well worth the $0.99! ### 4/5 — Needs start and end dates *2013-08-08* This app gives the times of the shower peaks, but no indication of when the shower begins and ends. Some showers are visible for a week or more, others for just a few hours. Perhaps graphs showing the length and strength of each shower would be in order. In addition to telling you what meteor showers are currently happening, it also tells you when the meteor shower starts and ends, and how many meteors per hour you're likely to see. What would make this app even better is to have it identify the likelihood of you seeing meteors based on the weather in your area.
