I need a camera!!!! On July 15, 2025, I’ve been trying to record in slo-motion not successful, yet. I saw some white and a little green clouds/smoke (no trail ) or smoke screen, then, a swoosh sound and in formational unison 130 green meteors mixed with a few single white meteors! Then, I kept video recording and another swoosh sound 130 more single green formational meteors going counter clockwise to my right in unison with two single white meteors trailing! Oh, my IPhone recorded the Meteor event upside down. Star guide when they show you where to look for the meteors in maybe save the colors of each meteor but this app is beautiful. It’s amazing like you have all the minor meteor showers that I didn’t even know about. I didn’t even know that Alpha Capricorn was a minor meteor shower. I’m supposed to have meteor shower functionality in another app that I paid for, but it’s so complex to use there’s no way to tell how to even get to it and now they want a subscription on top of it! I really do like one app that does its thing well vs a jack of all trades app. A few things I would recommend to be added/fixed/improved: 1. The notifications don’t work. I’ve never received anything about an upcoming meteor shower. 2. It would be great if there was a widget for this. I can see the app being used so much more when actively seeing what’s coming up. (To me, this would be a big improvement.) 3. A way to find what the appropriate light pollution scale is for where I’m located. That way the app could auto update the correct scale of what to expect. Otherwise, I love it and continue to use it.
