Metered turns your iPhone into a Light Meter, with intuitive controls, but it's also one that knows your camera and film. Pick your camera from a built-in library of classic bodies — Hasselblad 500C/M, Pentax 67, Nikon FM2, Rolleiflex, XPan, and dozens more — and the app meters within its real mechanical limits. Shutter readings never exceed what your camera can do, apertures never open wider than your lens, and the frame preview matches your film format: 6×6, 6×7, 6×4.5, 3:2, even 65:24 panoramic. Add your own as well! Load a stock from the built-in film library — Portra, Tri-X, HP5, Velvia, Ektar, Acros — and your ISO is set; push or pull a stop and Metered tracks it automatically. Shooting long exposures? Metered now tells you how much extra time your film actually needs. Pick your stock and any reading over a second shows the corrected time and the stops it adds — using published factors from Ilford, Kodak and Fuji. You can see every number and its source in Settings, edit it for your own stocks, or turn the whole thing off. Bulb mode. Dial one click past your slowest speed and Metered calculates the full exposure to time by hand — no longer capped by what your shutter is marked for. Longer times, smaller apertures. The shutter dial now runs minute by minute out to 30 minutes, and apertures reach f/128 for large format. Added 1/400. Fixed a first-run problem where the camera permission prompt could appear over the welcome screen and leave the preview black.
