## What is MeterMe List?

MeterMe List is the shopping list that understands your routine. Plan groceries together, add items in seconds, and stay organized in the store—on iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch.

YOUR LIST, TOGETHER
• Private synchronization and family sharing through iCloud
• Clear items with quantity, note, category, and priority
• A learned walking order for your favorite store
• Widgets and Siri Shortcuts for quick access

RECIPES FOR EVERYDAY LIFE
Discover varied recipes and add their ingredients directly to your shopping list. Adjust serving sizes, scale quantities automatically, and use helpful product images while shopping.

DIETARY PROFILES AND INTOLERANCES
Set your dietary profile and filter recipes for your needs: meat-free, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, wheat-free, dairy-free, egg-free, nut-free, and peanut-free. Where possible, MeterMe List suggests suitable alternatives and clearly labels substitutions. For allergies and celiac disease, always check the ingredient list and trace warnings on the actual product packaging.

HELPFUL SHOPPING RHYTHMS
Checked-off items become private purchase events. MeterMe List uses them to recognize recurring intervals and suggest products at the right time. The calculation remains transparent and can be adjusted or deleted at any time.

FIND PRODUCTS QUICKLY
Find products with useful images, variants, and information, then add them directly to your list.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
MeterMe List does not require an additional account. Lists and sharing are managed through your Apple ID and Apple CloudKit. Optional location access is used only to identify a nearby store.

METERME LIST PLUS+
Optional monthly and yearly subscriptions unlock additional convenience features. Purchases and renewals are securely handled by the App Store.

• Save loyalty cards and screenshots locally and open the matching retailer card during an active shopping trip.
• Create and edit your own recipes with photos, ingredients, quantities and preparation steps.
• Import recipes by URL, lists from text/CSV/TSV and PDF or ChatGPT receipts; put completed purchases back on the current list.
• More reliable market detection with location access. Shopping routes now follow the selected market, including EDEKA, REWE, Kaufland, Lidl and Aldi.
• More products are recognized across variants, brands, true fruits and different spellings. Items added quickly stay in the right place in your route.
• Open shared iCloud lists directly in MeterMe List; MeterMe Day is not required.
• Further fixes for iCloud help, list selection, duplicate products, keyboard handling, categories and recipe search.

### 1.4 — 2026-09-17

MAJOR NEW FEATURES

• New cooking mode with Plus+: Check off ingredients, follow step-by-step instructions and use multiple timers. Clear guidance shows which steps need to wait and which tasks can run alongside cooking or waiting time. Your progress is saved.
• Resume cooking from Recipes: A badge on the Recipes tab and a dedicated row above the dish of the day take you back to your recipe. Dismiss the reminder with X without losing progress or timers.
• Product photos: Attach a photo from your camera or photo library to an item. A subtle purple icon opens the preview. Replace or remove photos, and restore them when undoing an item deletion.
• MeterMe Day: Open shopping items, product images and recipe information are also available in Day. Review incoming suggestions before adding them to your list.

MORE IMPROVEMENTS

• 20 additional cold-cut products, including corned turkey, corned beef, poultry cold cuts, Lyoner, Bierschinken and pastrami.
• Share recipes with your chosen servings and suitable ingredient substitutes.
• Better shopping suggestions based on frequent purchases, items bought together and items due again.
• Share or copy shopping lists as text, including quantities, notes and completion status.
• Hide lists on this device and show them again later.
• Easier category selection and custom product entry, a refreshed people view and a new jade-green app icon.
• Improved iCloud help, more reliable list selection after updates and additional storage checks.
• Fixed a crash caused by duplicate products and improved navigation, keyboard handling and suggestion performance.

The barcode scanner remains temporarily paused. Product search and manual entry remain available.

### 1.3 — 2026-09-12

New in MeterMe List 1.3:

• 27 new recipes and variants: discover 117 recipes with matching images, adjustable servings and ingredients for your shopping list, including quick everyday meals and two steak variations.
• Recipe search responds faster by running in the background, coalescing rapid typing and reusing prepared filters.
• More accurate product matches and new images for chilled foods, frozen products and deli items, including filled pasta, battered fish and deli salads.
• Swipe left to delete items, and recognize gifts more easily from their image.
• Finish shopping directly from the Live Activity on the Lock Screen or in Dynamic Island. Only checked items are saved as purchases; remaining items stay on the list.
• With automatic store detection enabled, the app reminds you about an unfinished shopping trip after five minutes away from the store. Finish the trip or choose to be reminded later.

Version 1.2 notes are available separately in the app.
