A NOTE ON ACCURACY
Anthropic does not publish exact token limits, so the 5-hour and weekly percentages are estimates: your Mac works them out from its Claude Code logs, and they can differ a few percent from Claude's own usage screen. Calibrating on the Mac anchors them and carries across to here. If you connect your Claude account there, your iPhone and Watch show the exact figures too - every number is tagged so you can tell at a glance which kind you are looking at.

### 1.4.0 — 2026-08-13

A new look, and your agent can now ask you a question.

• Redesigned from the ground up. The panel is a cluster of equal readings (session, week, burn rate, plan value) that breaks into one full-width reading the moment a limit comes into reach. Color now means one thing: trouble. Everything normal is quiet, so a single colored pixel is worth looking at.

• Every chart rebuilt. Activity has a tooltip and reads out in VoiceOver, the heatmap scales by percentile instead of by maximum so one heavy day no longer flattens a whole quarter, and today's partial bar is hatched and left out of the average.

• Claude Code's multiple-choice questions can now be answered remotely, not just allowed or denied. Pick option two from your iPhone.

• Every reading now carries where it came from, measured, official or estimated, drawn as a rule rather than a color so it survives Increase Contrast and the menu bar.

### 1.3.0 — 2026-08-13

Answer your agents from anywhere.

• Claude Code's permission prompts can now reach you on your Mac, iPhone or Apple Watch. Allow or deny with one tap, optionally behind Face ID. If you answer nothing, the prompt appears in your terminal exactly as it did before, so this can only ever help.

• Budget guardrails can ask instead of stopping. When a ceiling trips, MeterTab holds the tool call and asks whether to keep going, rather than simply blocking it.

• A new Sessions view shows which worktrees are busy, the command each one is running, how full its context is, and the agent's own task list. Open a row to read the last ten tool calls in full.

• Your iPhone can show all of that too, if you switch it on. Anything that crosses to it is scrubbed of text shaped like an API key or a password, and your prompts, your code and your file contents never leave the Mac.

### 1.2.3 — 2026-08-10

MeterTab now speaks your language.

• The app is translated into 10 languages — English plus: German, Spanish (Spain and Mexico), French, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Dutch, Brazilian Portuguese and Simplified Chinese — every screen, notifications, widgets and the Watch face.

• Numbers follow your region. Amounts and percentages are now formatted the way your device formats them, so a European region sees "154,80 $" rather than "$154,80". The currency stays USD — these are API-equivalent figures, never converted.

• The App Store listing is available in 39 languages.

Technical text stays in English on purpose: MCP tool names, the Claude Code hook snippet and anything written into your settings files — so your agents and scripts keep working exactly as before.

### 1.2.2 — 2026-08-01

• Sync, rebuilt. MeterTab used to download every message your Mac had ever recorded - hundreds of megabytes on a real account, minutes of waiting on a fresh install, and an app that could freeze or quit while it caught up. Your Mac now publishes a small summary instead: it syncs in seconds, takes a fraction of the storage, and shows the same numbers.

• Claude service status on the main screen, in Settings, and on widgets and complications - so when calls start failing you can tell an outage from your own budget running out.

• Clearer money. On a subscription, dollar figures are labelled "API-equivalent" - what your usage would have cost without a plan - rather than money spent.

• A gauge you can trust. The 5-hour card says when it has no recent data instead of showing a confident 0%, the reset time is right in your own time zone, and the limit your Mac has learned now reaches the phone and the watch.

• Pro users no longer open onto the upgrade screen.
