Just spins. ### 2/5 — Don’t rely on the maps *2022-01-11* Make sure you take a separate map. I kept having to restart the app to get it to show my actual location, but at some point it just quit and kept showing us in the parking lot, miles from our actual location. It’s nice for purchasing tickets for the day. ### 2/5 — Clunky *2014-12-03* Glad to have this app but it has some glaring flaws. 1) There's no way to tell if the report or map you're viewing is the latest info, and no way to refresh / check for updates. Switching tabs seems to update the conditions report, but sometimes the live map won't update without force quiting the app and restarting. 2) The static trail maps aren't cached! I load the map up at home, then go out in the trail where there's no service and the map won't load. These maps should just be part of the app, they don't change. ### 3/5 — Use Nordic pulse instead *2026-01-31* This app is a nice idea showing the map and grooming schedule of the Methow trails, but it’s clearly a port of the Nordic pulse app, when you search for Methow. The Nordic pulse doesn’t have the bugs that this app has (e.g. gps actually works, offline maps, can scroll trails and cross link to the map) ### 3/5 — Glitch in grooming report *2025-12-26* The grooming report does not scroll seamlessly. Sometimes it works to scroll to the top first, which, for some reason allows you to continue to scroll all the way to the bottom of the daily report. However, this is not always the case. Sometimes you have to keep your finger on the screen in order to scroll. Annoying. Please fix the glitch. ### 3/5 — Location services broken *2025-03-08* I was stoked at the idea of a live map. However it pops up an error about location services being denied, but I’m settings it hasn’t aired for location permission. ### 3/5 — Location of user not working *2023-01-18* I used to be able to see where I am on the Live Map but like other reviewers, I am no longer seeing that. I have location set to‘while using app’ and using iOS. I am not sure where to get tech support for this issue. ### 3/5 — Location not working for me *2022-12-17* Not sure if I'm using the live map right but I'm clicking on the little chevron icon in the lower right and it just spins. I thought it might pinpoint me on the trails. No luck. IOS 16 with location while using on. However I have two problems. IOS 16.61 Methow version 8. I can’t find snow depth anywhere. I believe there used to be this listed on the grooming reports. When looking at the grooming reports it’s difficult to scroll down. However I was surprised to see that my location is not shown on the trail maps. Is this by design or is there something that needs to be fixed?
