## What is Metrik Unit Converter?

Metrik brings length, weight, currency, and 20+ more unit categories together with a full scientific calculator, a BMI calculator, and a time zone converter — all in one clean app.

• 20+ categories: length, weight, temperature, area, volume, speed, time, angle, energy, force, power, pressure, torque, data storage, internet speed, fuel economy, shoe & clothing size, currency, BMI, time zone, and more
• Full scientific calculator: trigonometry, logarithms, roots, powers, factorial, memory keys — send any result straight to the converter
• Live currency rates (ECB-based), cached for offline use
• Smart search: type "5 km mi" and get an instant result
• Favorites & Recents for one-tap access
• 17 languages, fully supported
• Light and dark theme
• No account, no sign-up — just install and go

Metrik doesn't collect your personal data. Your preferences stay on your device only.

The app is ad-supported to stay free — every feature works exactly the same either way.

Enjoying Metrik? A quick rating means a lot to an independent developer.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.0.1 — 2026-09-17

What's New in This Version (2.0.1):
• Added new units across Volume, Weight, Length, Time, Power, Pressure, and Data Storage categories (picoliter, nanogram, micrometer, milliwatt, hectopascal, petabyte, and more).
• Unit names are now shown in full alongside their symbols across all categories, in your own language.
• The favorite star now updates correctly when you change a unit.
• Bug fixes in the Calculator: fixed an issue with the random number and constant keys, fixed the "=" key causing an error on incomplete expressions, and fixed root and exponent operations to work as expected.
• General stability and performance improvements.

### 2.0 — 2026-09-11

We rebuilt Metrik from the ground up:

• A completely redesigned interface
• New: full scientific calculator
• New: BMI calculator and time zone converter
• 20+ conversion categories
• Now in 17 languages
• In-app language switch — independent of your phone's system language
• Light/dark theme support
• Smart search with instant previews
• General performance and stability improvements

### 1.0.3 — 2026-09-07

• New: Shoe Size converter (US Men/Women, EU, UK, cm)
• New: Clothing Size converter (US, EU, UK)
• Scientific calculator: you can now type a function first (e.g. tap "log" then enter the number) as well as number-first — both orders work
• Scientific calculator: cleaner power and root display (5³ instead of 5^3)
• Fixed the Rotational Speed screen where long unit names overlapped the result
• Fixed calculator error messages showing in Turkish even in English mode
• Fixed the ad banner slightly overlapping the calculator's bottom row
• You can now copy a calculator result by pressing and holding it

### 1.0.2 — 2026-09-05

• New: Full scientific calculator — trigonometry, logarithms, powers, roots, parentheses, and memory
• New: Rotational Speed category (RPM, rev/s, rad/s, deg/s)
• Favorites can now be reordered — tap "Sort" and drag categories into the order you want
• Favorites now start empty so your home screen shows only what you choose to add
• Fixed an issue where the ad banner could look broken after rotating the device; the app now supports portrait orientation only for a more consistent experience

### 1.0.1 — 2026-09-05

• Added support for system Dark Mode
• Updated app icon home screen label and store links
