All tools like the trip planner and bus schedules STILL direct you to the website years later. I do appreciate that I can buy a ticket with Apple Pay now, but even that is a little tedious when buying a ticket last minute. I can’t believe I’m giving 2 stars.. However, after updating to the most version, I can’t even make it past the initial MetroTransit screen. I still have unactivated tickets on my account, which I was going to use for upcoming travel this week. I already submitted the help form on the Metro Transit website (and requested a response to my inquiry). As of this review, I haven’t heard anything back. As this app was my main method of buying and using tickets, I would greatly appreciate support regarding this issue. ### 1/5 — Breaking Change on 1/9 *2025-01-15, version 4.10.0* The app doesn’t work since the latest update. It starts, but the menu never appears. I almost missed the bus this morning to work because the app isn’t working right now - please fix this! They’ve got 10 days from the 6th of August to conform to the ADA and allow people with disabilities to use their Go2 card as a payment option on the app or risk getting sued for making life harder for those with disabilities to use their card issued by the county ### 1/5 — Can’t get past the signup screen *2025-06-20, version 4.11.0* The app doesn’t allow me to create an account after entering email and password. The first time it happened I had no cash on me and was nearly stranded in -20 degree weather miles from home. I was luckier than some other reviewers and the bus driver was kind enough to let me board but given some of our extreme weather conditions this seems like a dangerous bug that needs to be fixed. ### 1/5 — Faulty App *2025-01-29, version 4.10.0* App is not working at this time 01/29/2025. I’m a transit commuter that relies on this app to make purchases for my fare. Today really sucked. I was confused and in a frenzy trying to buy fare on the app because I don’t have cash and scared that I would miss my bus while waiting in this arctic cold. The app never loaded past the blue logo screen - and so I wasn’t able to board the bus since I couldn’t buy fare. I was disappointed when I had to pay for a Lyft that ended up costing $15 when I could have gotten on a bus for $2.50. I haven’t had this issue before until the most recent update. Please fix it! ### 1/5 — Used to work *2025-01-22* App used to work fine or as described but now can’t get past the home screen? Just a huge metro logo and it makes it impossible to use. I waited for it to load pass the logo for like a half hour while making breakfast, just draining my phone juice, and decided to go try to find cash. Not able to get it working tonight either. Idk if this has been a long term issue or if it’s just today the servers are down, but its killin me. This app was great for buying tickets on Metro Transit. App supports Apple Pay and you can buy multiple tickets for everyone in the group. Very easy to display tickets during a fare inspection on METRO lines and to show driver on local bus routes. ### 5/5 — Love the App *2025-06-21, version 4.11.0* Not sure why there’s no love for this App. It was super easy to use and was a game changer in traveling between Target Field, downtown and the airport. You purchase ticket, you redeem ticket when you ride. It takes Apple Pay or you can enter a credit card. Once you’re setup, faster to use than the ticket kiosks and easier to refill than the go cards.
