## What is Metronome and Tuning?

Tuning and Metronome is a practice companion for string players: a chromatic tuner and a metronome running at the same time, on one screen.

Watch your intonation on a precise semicircular gauge while an audible beat keeps time. The tuner uses the YIN algorithm for fast, accurate pitch detection across the full chromatic range - play any note, not just violin strings. The metronome is driven by the audio render timeline, never a timer, so the beat stays rock-solid and the pendulum swings in perfect time.

Built for real practice:
• Simultaneous tuner + metronome - hear the click while you watch the needle.
• Click rejection - the tuner ignores the app's own metronome clicks, so a sustained
note stays stable instead of jumping with every beat.
• Configurable A4 - set concert pitch from 415–466 Hz (presets:
415/432/440/442/443/444, plus a fine slider).
• Multple clap sounds - Clap 1 and Clap 2, each previewable, with independent volume.
• Live BPM changes - the beat and pendulum track your tempo without skipping or
doubling.
• Distraction-free dark UI - tuner gauge up top, pendulum metronome below.
