Metronome keeps perfect time with a beat you can see and feel — a full-screen pulse and a haptic tap on every beat. No internet, no account, no ads, no tracking. Turn on airplane mode and it still works. That's the whole point. Tap Start and it begins on beat one — instantly, no warm-up. No subscriptions, no ads. ------------------------------- ● Built for real practice ------------------------------- • A full-screen pulse you can read across the room, with a stronger accent on the downbeat. • A haptic tap on every beat — feel the tempo even with the sound off. • Tap-tempo: tap along and it finds your BPM. • 30–300 BPM, set by a big slider or one-BPM steps. • Beats per bar from 1 to 12, with clear beat dots. • Classic tempo markings (Largo to Prestissimo) shown as you change speed. • Subdivisions: eighths, triplets or sixteenths — the bar count and the accent stay on the quarter note. • Tempo presets: one tap to Largo, Adagio, Andante, Moderato, Allegro or Presto. • The screen stays on while the beat runs — no auto-lock in the middle of practice. ------------------------------- ● Private and offline by design ------------------------------- ● On your Apple Watch ------------------------------- • Start, stop and change tempo from your wrist. "The tools you reach for first." ## Version history (last 5 releases) ### 1.1.0 — 2026-08-24 Getting around is easier now. • Swipe from the left edge to go back, the way iPhone does everywhere else • Info and settings panels always close, even at large text sizes ### 1.0.9 — 2026-08-15 Your feedback, shipped. • Time signatures are now one-tap templates: 4/4, 3/4, 2/4, 6/8, 9/8, 12/8, 5/4, 7/8 — no more counting with a stepper. • Each one brings its own accent pattern. 4/4 plays strong-weak-medium-weak; 6/8 sounds like two groups of three, not six flat pulses. Click, haptic and beat dots all carry the shape. • Cleaner screen: the beat disc has room to breathe, the bar dots line up on one axis, and everything that wasn't a control moved into About. ### 1.0.8 — 2026-08-09 Arabic is now supported, with full right-to-left layout. This one came from a user request — thank you. If something in your language looks wrong, tell us from the "Built with you" card and we read every message. ### 1.0.7 — 2026-08-08 • Subdivisions — practise in eighths, triplets or sixteenths. One tap on the note value, and the bar count, the accent and the visual pulse all stay on the quarter note however fine you go. • Tempo presets — one tap jumps straight to Largo, Adagio, Andante, Moderato, Allegro or Presto, so you reach a practice speed without dragging the slider. • The screen stays on while the beat runs, so a long session is never cut short by auto-lock. It needs no extra permission. • Faster start — the audio engine is no longer built on the launch path, so the first screen is drawn right away. • Fixed: on the smallest iPhone screens the subdivision buttons shrank below the 64 pt touch size and the offline badges were clipped at the edge. • Fixed: if the audio warm-up failed once, the click could stay silent for the rest of the session. It now retries, and the beat keeps running either way. No subscription. No ads. No tracking.
