Does all this without being cluttered. However I can't import my own sounds. I'm using v.1.4 and have tried several times to import, but the app won't show them listed anywhere. Also I'd suggest for your tap feature to allow the pressing of any key on the Mac's keyboard to determine the tempo. ### 5/5 — Great! *2024-10-20, version 1.4* The fact that this is free and ad-free is great. I’m an old time and blues musician and the metronome adds a lot of fun and angles to unfamiliar territory outside of a straight backbeat. This Is The One *2026-03-16, version 1.4* I’ve spent so much needless time auditioning metronomes. Something that I thought would be so quick and simple, turned into the proverbial rabbit hole. Each of the apps that did what I wanted and were not unattractive, required a monthly/yearly subscription payment. I wouldn’t mind a one time fee, but a subscription is a bit excessive, in my opinion. This app, on the other hand, does everything I need it to and is free. It allows you alter the accented beats, alter the sound of the click, and even has a tuner. Another feature that I didn’t know I wanted until I saw it, is saving presets. You can select a bpm and a time and save it with a custom name. It does other things that I haven’t yet explored, but as I have mentioned, it covers all my bases nicely. And did I mention it’s free? Save yourself some time. This is the one.
