I simply cannot hear it at all on an iPad Pro on full volume. **Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback. Please be aware that the metronome volume is controlled in two places: 1. System volume of the iPhone or iPad – this should be set to maximum. 2. In-app audio volume – in Settings you will find a separate volume control for the metronome sound, which should also be set to maximum in your case. If either setting is lower, the metronome will sound much quieter. Clean and crisp design although I’d like the background to offer shades of grey, not just black and white. The pure white can be glaring and hard on the eyes. I also wish softer edged sounds were included, such as a snare drum for example. My guitar practice group, and I, find hard edged sounds, even the drums, are too brittle and get on our nerves very quickly. I downloaded a few and this is the most beautiful of them all. This one only charges $2 and you can keep it forever. One company was charging $49 a year which I think is simply ridiculous. Also, very accessible with VoiceOver screen reader for the blind -- a nice touch! The presets allow me to have specific beats set up and saved for individual exercises. The slider is so dang sensitive it’s difficult to start it without adjusting the tempo by accident. A simple button or something to press to kickoff the metronome would be appreciated. Sehr schön ist, dass man Betonungen auf unterschiedliche Zählzeiten legen kann, das ist extrem hilfreich. Und die Angaben zum Datenschutz waren der Kaufgrund, alle anderen mögen vielleicht einen Ticken cooler sein (wer weiss??), sind aber Datensammler par Excelence. Gut investiertes Geld!!! Seller contacted me & told me to do what I had already done, like I had never used a metronome before. Anyway, deleted it, downloaded it again. Deleted it, downloaded it yet again. Beim echten Metronom kann ich ja auch keine Achtel und so weiter ‚programmieren‘. In den Presets sind ja auf Wunsch entsprechende Titel möglich. It cannot sync with another device using the same app as promised. Look elsewhere for a metronome. ### 1/5 — Off beat during air sync *2018-10-26* Bought the app for only the reason to be able to synchronize with other musicians. The demo video showed perfect synchronization with all the devices so I thought I’d try. The joint devices sound of beat sometimes and then trying to catch up with the host. Although it’s not expensive app, but waisted money, because I already had couple of metronomes. **Developer response:** The synchronisation works with WLAN and/or Bluetooth. If the joined device drops very often it can be a problem of latency or bandwidth. Please try to disable one service, i.e. shutdown WLAN on the host device to force using Bluetooth for communication. I only used this Metronome since Metronome pro stopped working, and was hoping this could be a substitute until Metronome pro is working again. I purchased this to help my wife with her guitar practice. She bought herself an antique wooden metronome that looks perfect but doesn’t swing evenly anymore. This app gives her back the feel of looking at a pretty Metronome, with the bonus of actually doing the job of keeping the beat evenly. :) I also like the selection of sounds available for the beats. If you are ever thinking of any future features, a slider to alter to pitch of the existing sounds would be great. I could make the Knock sound file you have sound a bit more like the larger wood metronome my wife originally had. Einige Extras wie verschiedene Sounds und Taktarten wählbar. ### 5/5 — Excellent app, excellent customer service *2025-09-18* This app is my favorite metronome app. I don’t use it for music, but for mindfulness, regulating my emotions and bringing my focus back to the present. I’m an autistic person with ADHD and this app has been excellent for me for this purpose. Disclaimer: what follows is a description of an issue that I had that was my own lack of understanding of the app’s functions, not any issue with the app itself. I was having an issue with it where I thought it wouldn’t allow you to completely remove the different beat sound (don’t know what that’s called) at the end of whatever timeframe you set. The number of beats is set at 12, so I got this to do 11 ticks and on the 12th beat it would do this tink sound that pulled me out of my focus and mindfulness. I’m sure this is necessary for musicians but it was jarring to me for my purposes. I emailed the developer and they got back to me extremely quickly and told me how to remove that sound so it would only play the sound I wanted. I also learned that this app does a lot more than I thought it did. Which, again, I’m sure makes it a great app for musicians. The person was kind and patient and explained how to fix my issue in a way that was easily understandable, which was my issue and had nothing to do with the quality or function of the app itself. I was very pleased with the timely response to my complaint and the graciousness with how the person handled it. I was very impressed with my experience with the app as well as my experience communicating with the developer.
