I love this metronome app. It’s layed out great, so it is really useful. It’s also cool that you can have different sub beats. But… if you go into another app, the sound stops working, and you have to close the app and open it again to make the sound turn on. Then you have to set the bpm and all the settings again. Same thing with the web version. Oh yeah, not to mention that THE SETTINGS RESET EVERY TIME YOU OPEN THE APP!!! Please fix this, if you do I’ll download it again.

A superb app without any unnecessary frills, nags or ads.
The interface is clean and easily understandable without any instructions or help.
Great work, and thanks for making your work available for free!

Update: there is a bug unfortunately.  If the app goes into the background, it no longer works.  The timer counts down but the beats don’t register and no sound.  Unfortunately others have mentioned this but the developer doesn’t seem to accept there might be an issue in the app.

Also, it’d be nice to have the app remember previous settings rather than always reset to 60 bpm and 2/4 time (weird choice for default)

I don’t have a way to get sound. This seems like a good app IF it had sound. I don’t know how to fix the sound settings, and when I went to the website, it was all in French! I’m just confused and hope that there is a fix for this. 

Update: I unfortunately have found no way to change the sound settings. I believe that there might be a problem with my phone and not the app. I do enjoy the multiple options for the metronome, and I recommend it to anyone who is considering it. Keep up the great work and thanks for helping me as much as you can!!! 

P.s. I recommend adding multiple links for your app support so people can choose which language they want to view your website in.

Nice looking app but doesn’t play sound on my iPhone 5 SE

I don’t understand, I saw a 1 star review just saying “no sound” and another one saying “it stopped after my first use” Well I love this app and it is one of the best metronome apps out their and both of those problems have to do with your phone and if it has to do with the app, well then TRY REDOWNLOADING IT!!!

This is the only app I know that has a shuffle pattern so i have to use it and i hate it.  You have to fiddle with the silence button/switch on your phone to make it work, and even then if you leave the app once, the app will stop playing audio.  Devs pretend to not know about this in previous responses to reviews and have done nothing to fix it.

This used to be a great metronome. I could get a real 6/8 time signature running. But a couple years ago the sound quit. I deleted the app but I decided to give it another shot today. Still no sound. 

If it now relies on the ringer to be on, that’s what’s known as a design flaw. I used to be able to get sound with the ringer off and other metronome apps are intelligent enough not to do this.

Je regrette que votre application soit inaccessible et donc inutilisable par les aveugles. Le développement jusqu'à présent ne respecte pas les normes d'accessibilité. 
Il existe moulte applications de métronomes mais je n'en ai jusqu'ici trouvé aucune d'utilisable de façon confortable. 

Je vous invite à revoir la copie et je ne manquerai pas d'éditer un nouvel avis si vos efforts rend votre application utilisable par tous.

I think it is a great app I do not understand the people that give one star it is simple and easy overall I think it is a great app one thing I do wish you could fix is the fact that there is no different modes I am ten and I take piano lessons my teachers metronome has different options but overall I think it is a great app 🤗🤗🤗

This is a great app that just does what a metronome is meant to do; nothing more and nothing less. My only suggestion, if it is still being looked at, is for the settings to remain as they are when I close it. Mmmmm, I could of course leave it open.

Simple enough to use immediately. Just what you need in a metronome app, works great, and sound works as long as you don’t have your “ringer” set to silent mode (people should know this and not have rated this app poorly because they had their ringer turned off). The tap function is great, used it to check a heart BPM in our dog.

Wanted a metronome for practicing guitar. Most i found had the usual in-app purchases. Seriously? I just want something to make a sound on a beat. This is it. Thanks. Clean and simple app.

Really good for 4/4, 8th and 16th notes for practicing the guitar. One doesn’t need more than this. Make sure you have not turned off your alert sounds for it to work.  Thanks for the free app.

I have had no issues with the app, but I had to turn my sound on (switching the side button up from silent to sound). I REALLY like that this doesn’t require a time signature and just has a beat with tempo; it’s hard to find a metronome app that is simple like this. The different “sub beats” (i.e. a lesser tone for eighth notes, triplets, etc.) is very clever too.
